Suhana's Corner: Reconnecting with old friends in a new city

Hi everyone. My maid mayhem continues but Sona's visit with her husband was a refreshing change. I didn't realize how bored I was being all alone but reconnecting with her made me feel much better.
Madhuri, my maid, has a mind of her own and a system to back it. She manages to confuse and overwhelm me and it is too late when I realise I did most of the work while she was simply jabbing away. I was looking forward to meeting and preparing dinner for Sona and Abhishek but Madhuri threw her usual tantrums asking for money and a day off. Madhuri is sly I tell you. I didn't realise her underhanded method of working as she guided me through the whole meal. OMG. My maid is becoming the bane of my existence.
After my interaction with Sona last year when I suspected she was in love with Ishaan, I was looking forward to meeting her again. How time flies. Had someone told me last year that I would be entertaining Sona in a new home in a year, I would have thought they were crazy as I was super jealous of her closeness with Ishaan back then. But today the story is different. I am glad he has a good and caring friend in her. And I found her husband Abhishek too to be very caring, giving and loving which is why I didn't understand why Ishaan felt something is off with him.
Sure when Abhishek and Sona arrived, he was strangling her but later he said he wanted to gauge Ishaan's reaction. That was strange but maybe he has a weird sense of humour. But if Sona doesn't have a problem, then we shouldn't worry. We all exchanged stories about Ishaan's childhood masti with Sona which Abhishek seemed very interested in. I realised Abhishek deeply loves Sona but Ishaan didn't think so and wasn't convinced about them.
It was Sona who reminded me of the anniversary of the day I confessed my love for Ishaan. I am very excited and have began planning a celebration with flowers, candles and a gorgeous meal. It would be a surprise for my darling Ishaan.
