All my sisters back in Kolkata😆Bhai dooj is an equivalent to Rakhi😛I am the only one among my brothers who have been missing out this festval for so many years and dont get my gifts😭😆😆lol I am going more for the gifts😆

Oh we don't have that sort of thing in our culture...my brothers would certainly be jealous of you since they always wanted male version of Raksha Bandhan...but I guess Lori is like that. 🤔😆 Anyways, that's great to hear...hope you get lots of presents...and then make sure to share them with me.

Humaare yahaan Bhai Dooj mein sisters give gifts to their brothers but brothers give their sisters gold/cash...😆...So it will add to a guyz debt in the balance sheet😆

@Bold -- Ekta Diwali is Five Days Festival...

1. Dhan-Teras -- Ppl do Pooja of Laxmi mata... and buy some stuff mostly SIlver or Gold...

2. Kali-Chaudas -- it's the 2nd Day... ppl cook Puri, Pakora... basically you have to fry something... this is celebrated as to keep all the Buri Nazar, kali Shakti away from you...

3. Diwali -- Fatake Fodo...

4. New Year -- this is the day where New Year starts for us Gujjus, it's Gujjus New Year by Gujarati Calendar...

5. Bhai-Dooj -- is where Bhai go to Bahen's house... to celebrate... Sister cook for Bhai... it's kind of reverse from Rakhi[where Sisters go to Brothers home to tie Rakhi😃]
