Anyways yes it means National Health Service.
Its been 4 years and hopefully another year and then I shall qualify. I have to do a few exams later this year. Not looking forward to that!!

By the way, I'd like your personal opinion on laser eye surgery...do you think it's worth doing for correcting vision?

Laser eye surgery for vision correction. If it benefits you then, go ahead but there are a few things you have yo bear in mind.
Well all I can say is that you have to be very careful who you go with and make sure you make a proper informed decision.
You have to consider if you already have any eye conditions, which may effect the result of the laser surgery.
If you have healthy eyes with no problems then you should do all you research and go with a reputable company. Remember that some mistakes are irreversible when it comes sight. So please make sure that you happy about the company, the surgeon and that you know you will benefit from it.

You are right. That's a very sensible approach. My cousin wanted to do laser eye surgery but he was very unsure and I was not that well informed about this sort of thing so that's why I thought to ask you, since you are a part of the field of opthamology.
