Ok guys.... Since this is gonna be a cricket thread and I have never sat and watched a match except the final match played between India and Srilanka thot of keying in my experience here.... well..... as now the IPL fever is about to be in town.....😆

The fun began when i was busy cooking for the dinner and the first wicket news came by of Sehwag..... there rang the phone and my friend cried out...... Hey one is gone.... and i am tensed.... what the hell r they doing....😆... i said calm yaar... ek hi toh gaya.... bakhi haina... and i continued.... my cooking..... then came tendulkar.... as i was doing tadka....i switched on the exhaust..... the moment i put it on.... my child gave the news tendulkar is OUT......... a shrill ran down me and i switched off the exhaust first..... it seemed allmost to me as if the exhaust was the cause of him beocming OUT......🤣...TRING the phone rang and my friend again said....Hey now i am dead sure...India is gonna lose.....😭...i said HOLD ON... doh hi toh gaye hai.... bahut abhi baaki hai....😆...and she said tendulkar gaya.... bakhi kya khelenge yaar....But i remained firm..... no they can do it yaar.... and told her to wind up and come quickly....

My friend and her family arrived finally after this knockout..... We made all primary arrangements like keeping the snacks , tumperfit, ready with us....😆 .... to either respond to the tension or the excitement respectively......

The family whom we had invited had a baby of 6 months and my friend was trying hard to put her to sleep as she wanted to watch the match peacefully.... ...but the baby too seemed to be excited seeing the commotion in our house and refused to sleep..... all our attempts to switch on and off the lights in our rooms went futile and finally the baby too became a part of the spectators....

In between while I was arranging the stuff in kitchen.... came our RAGZ and all in the living room shouted for me saying Suhana.....Suhana...come quickly.....🤣...Now the whole WORLD knows i am a Ragz fan.....🤣...including my athithi who is home at present....🤣

Then at about 77 runs and 78 balls..... I crossed my fingers and sat still ..... hoping for the team to win..... it was hard to see the countdown to win.....and nail-biting....my fingers started aching....but i was held...with my ungli cricket....😆...i had still kept it crossed.....😆

In between my friends's hubby wanted to change his seating ....I firmly said NO.... please be there only....🤣.... else the good luck charm may be affected.... he said"Ajeeb pagalpan hai yaar...."🤣...... Finally the score came to around 22 balls in 21 runs.... and the baby slept after such a long time.... then there was silence maintained at home so that the baby does not get up.....

But with the final SIXER by dhoni..... my fingers got straight.... we just jumped and hopped with excitement..... gale millofied..... and yelled.... this time...my friend din stop.... she herself played the tumperfit.... and the baby too got up and rejoiced with us......

So for us it was an unique experience full of FALTU superstitions..... but glad We won the match and we went berserk.... my tummy was full by the time we had dinner as i had piled the lays in tension..... while watching the match.....

At first i thot.... it was only me who was crazy... . who switched off the exhaust, told my friend's hubby not to change his seating place and crossed my fingers.... 😆...btu seeing the celebs. like SRK, Aamir, Abhishek... all were equally crazy by wearing the same T-shirt or same socks or not even changing the posture they sat in....i felt i was BETTER.....

Why not??? I 'll give u another idea assuming that u r the most free guy on this planet.....Find out the cheerleaders for each of the IPL teams and put their photos in the thread...I am sure many will switch loyalties based on the photos and they will forget about the players...what say????

Really??? Tejesh???😆....but just cud not yaar.... as busy entire day with our plans.... and i just wanted to wind up and get free to see the match... so cud not log on to IF....🤔

Lax Di wud U believe that I read ur whole Post nd that too two timezzz😲Dont be shocked Di I read two timezz as I didnt get that in first time as I m not used to Reading These Long posts😳 😆😆..........Kya Ladofying(I dont know the meaning😃) Experience tha aapka Di.......I watched the Match sitting in my Bedroom since the beginning.......It was 2 in the morning wen I started watching the match😆.....I watched the Final match Without Moving from my bed for that 8 hours.......And The Minute I moved in between to go to washroom Gambir got out😆😆 So I Sat there until India won........This Proves I m too superstitious like u 😉

Itz nice reading ur experience di..........count me in ur list itz d first match i hv watched so dedicately without changing the channel n jumping from 9xM to star plus to colors or zee tv...i hvn't change the channel until match get finished n our boyzz hold the cup in their hand n then time for celebrations my mom already bought sweets in the evening shez so confident tat india is going to win........i cn't believe itz me i was rly clapping n jumping when v r getting closer to the victory......itz first time i enjoyed so much ths one is memorable match for me........di even my mom get surprised when i told her tat the big stars lk aamir khan,abhishek wearing the same clothes jst for luck....even these big big stars r soo supertitious.
