Suhanas Corner: Out of Jail & in for a surprise

Dear readers, hope you all had a great week. I have had an exciting week so far. For starters we got out of jail? phew. I really missed my family, and am glad to be back home, back in a comfortable room with a comfortable bed and pillow and sweetu.

After the horrors I faced last week in that horrid hotel and jail, I'm glad to be sleeping in comfort now.

My family was proud of me for standing up for Anu and revealing the truth about her love for Mohit and stopping them from committing a huge mistake. I'm glad that I did it and that there was no drama created over the issue. It is after all matter of the heart and I'm glad that everyone was very understanding about the whole situation.

So guess what? Ishaan surprised me. And what a surprise it was. I was reading and annoying Ishaan, which I love doing all the time, when all of a sudden he handed me a pair of car keys . I was puzzled at first and then he told me that he sold that junk of a scooter that he owns and bought a new car. It's really sweet of him to something like that. Finally , I have a car and not a stupid scooter. Though I call him Amol Palekar season 2, he is very adorable and understanding. I think I am lucky have Ishaan as my husband. But Im still dumbfounded that we have a car and do not own that stupid scooter. The family members also couldn't contain their excitement about the car, but they also got very nostalgic about the fun times they had had on the scooter. It was like the scooter was a family member. I realized how much the his scooter meant to him and so if he can sell his scooter to get me a comfortable car then even I should do something for him and so without informing annyone I brought that scooter back and I surprised Ishaan. He was so happy to get his scooter back. Words just can't explain the rush of emotions on Ishaan's face. It was simply pricless.

As we were sitting around and chatting, Dadi revealed Badi ma's hidden talent ? her amazing dancing skills. The minute we got to know about it we all coaxed her to perfom for us and Badi ma very sportingly danced on Waheeda Rehman's hit song from Guide..Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hain...wow I didnt know that Badi Maa dances so well. I think I should take some dancing lessons from her, she is so expressive. I feel that Badi maa is an all rounder in all the aspects. But suddenly all the excitement came to an end when the news of Deepak attempting suicide at his hostel reached us. We were shocked and I didn't know how to deal with Radha bua, who looked devastated. I'm also surprised at Deepak. I thought that he was a responsible boy. What does he mean by attempting suicide? He's not a coward. While I'm hopeful for the mother-son bond to grow stronger after this incident, I need to tell Deepak some things he needs to know. I don't care if he doesn't like hearing it, but he's going to have to anyways. Hope he recovers soon and that everything is sorted. This sudden turn of events got the whole family worried, but I'm sure we'll emerge stronger as a family as we always do.
