@anu,ya its wierd to show him like this (almost as wierd as both of us addressing each other wid the same name😆) bt i think they try to show how extremely diff both are in reacting to a situation..and also what extremes of personality they are..if u look at it figuratively,suhana is the star cheerleader and ishaan is the class geek..he is super-smart bt NOT street-smart,not glaringly handsome,not very sophisticated..so i think they make ishaan look like a dork knowingly..so tht it shines out in every episode what contrasts they are..

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO ISHAAN? For the 1st time ever Suhana held out her arms and he ran to hug the scooter????????????? What???????? That didn't happen in OBS. Yes Ishaan's very happy but to this extent is a very OTT. I would have reacted exactly like Suhana. 😕

Honestly it doesn't even bother me that he didn't hug Suhana while she was waiting for his hug but his behavior with the scooter was just🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢.....OBS wala Ishaan's reaction was soooooooo sweet and simple....all he did was wipe the scooter with his hankerchief and he was blushing so cutely when Lolita was laughing at him for that.....

In SGP we got such a NIGHTMARISH scene with Ishaan drooling so pathetically over that scooter and shouting so much and generally behaving like a LUNATIC...Yuckssssssssssss! I feel like throwing a Suhana like tantrum now!😡

Anu.. I had the exact same reaction..I am not sure if I should say this out loud. I think it was more Jay Soni at fault in this particular scene than Ishaan's character. And also a badly directed scene in my opinion especially since all the director had to do was to replicate the original.

Also I don't understand bengali but have seen bits of OBS on youtube.. And all the scenes between Ishaan-Suhana where he seems champu is totally SGP .. In OBS, you actually feel sorry for Ishaan, and and don't want to scream at him saying 'grow a spine' 😉

Yaar first things first....may I know your name? LOL you seem to know mine but I don't think I know yours even though we've talked before in the gallery and stuff😆

And yeah I guess the fault lies with both the direction as well as Jay's acting......this seems to be a consistent issue in SGP whenever they show Ishaan's scooter and his behavior concerning it....they go wayyyyyyyyyy OTT and always make me cringe....but this time toh HADH hi kar di

I also catch bits and pieces of OBS from time to time even though I don't understand Bengali at all but it's quite easy to understand what's happening in a scene....they use a lot of English words and some hindi sounding ones too.

Anyways, many times SGP does put it's own interpretation to a scene from OBS and change it for the better sometimes....like I liked the scene after Ishaan gifts that dress to Suhana....her reactions in SGP were different than the ones in OBS to some extent....

But what they've done with this scooter scene seriously put me off.....Ishaan looked MENTAL in that scene.

I think it will be great if any of the forum members pass the comment to the writer of the SGP that they should make SGP more better way than OBS is made since SGP's viewers are 100 time more than OBS.
Also since OBS is already aired everyone will compare SGP with that and if SGP's standard is not up to the mark it will effect the show.

In general the writers are doing a very good job with SGP as well.....it's got it's own sort of flavor....but in the case of Ishaan's characterizations, they definitely need to fix some things like his OTT DEMENTED behavior with the scooter and stupid talking sessions with Suhana's teddy bear.

I don't generally compare the show to OBS....and I don't even watch the OBS epis in advance cuz I don't want it to affect my perception of SGP.....but in this case having watched the scene in OBS now, there is no doubt that they did NOT do a good job in SGP with the scene.....they should think about that.
