All the characters are well written in this serial. Very relateable to people in real life. Although I must say it is hard to find a family like this in real life all in one place. Or maybe I just haven't seen one like it. But indivually they are great characters. That's why we like some and get annoyed by some as we have read in other posts. Someone finds Rano irritating because she reminds her of her own MIL - some find Dada Dadi annoying..
I personally love Suhana's self absorbed, selfish yet innocent, naive and generous nature and Ishaan's simplicity yet mature understanding of a complex character like Suhana. He embodies the adage - if you love someone set them free , if they meant for you they will return. I like Badima's maturity also in understanding Suhana and giving her the space to grow and adjust into a diffrent enviorment from which she has grown up in. Rajini and Disha's irritation with Suhana's behavior is also very natural and expected from other DIL's in a house which gives latitude to one DIL.
Each one has good points and flaws. Not ridiculously evil and sneaky and out to hurt and destroy others like in other serials. Maybe that's part of the success of this show. Honestly I have never seen such evil destructive characters like some of the ones they show in most serials. Plotting to kill or hurt or harm others.
