Hi All-
I've been a silent observer of the SGP and Star Plus India-Forum...at one point I was in love with that show...ummm..what is it called?? Choti Bahu on Zee...yeah...that's it...but since it went to hell in a handbasket...I decided to stop watching that show...

Anyways, I just wanted to see what each of you thinks about an idea for SGP creatives: The Radha Bua, Deepak and Suhana episodes were quite solemn, but SGP is always sending positives messages to bring about societal change (the biggest, that not all Bahus are at war with their MIL's and in-laws in general and in a few of the episodes Suhana also has mentioned the negative impact of smoking; albiet in a funny manner, as well as her quoting Aamir Khan). I think it would be a good idea for Suhana and RB to bond and then Suhana should approach her about the Deepak issue again. RB could continue to deny answering, and Suhana in her ishtyle, can say okay you don't want to speak about it...fine....but you should speak to someone about this. She could say that her dad took her and her sister to therapy to deal with being motherless and how mental health is important to keep in balance.
I'm the wife of a psychiatrist....so by osmosis I feel strongly about promoting the postives of mental health for people. I think as Indian's we shy away from it, but isn't it about time we dealt with this type of behavior head on?? I'm also American by birth and upbringing.....so we embrace the fact that we're crazy and speak about it openly and deal with the issues.
I just thought that this track shouldn't end so abruptly and that SGP can truly serve as the platform to bring this Nayi Soch to viewers....
