There is different relationship between bhabhis and their husbands and Suhana and Ishaan. And, if not to their husbands ... to whom are they going to tell their problems.

And, Suhana did act in ways that have shaken their feelings for her. Do not think they had any kind of problem with her and did everything to make her at home. They still do not crib that Suhana does not do any house chores. They have kept the family together, molded themselves accordingly, and love each member.

I believe at this moment they are more human and better than Suhana. Suhana is more concerned about her feelings and what affects her ... she only shows concern when others share the same loss like hers.

She has been directly pointed-out in the tube-light scene, but what happened after that, restaurant fiasco. These two bhabhi would very well had hired a cab and got back home, leaving Suhana behind. But, they were worried about her too and kept standing in that place all alone … wondering where she is. If I bring the reality angle: Delhi is called the rape capital of India.

I did not like that scene: when they take the plate away. But, one can see it as symbolic: the insulting looks that they received from the waiters in the restaurant … may be it was shown to make Suhana realize how insulting one feels when something like that happens.

Were they so bugged with Suhana from day one, Nope. They loved her, made breakfast according to her taste, pampered her and still do not accuse her of being useless -- which she is currently. One cannot expect to go on doing things for others without expecting a little something back in return.

How long can Suhana continue living like a frog in a well that too in her sasural where there are sister-in-laws like her?

@vishmewell: It's not for the perfect bahu tag that they reminded Suhana to change. Firstly, they understand family values and the kind of family they belong to. Would Alok have taken coolly to the sight of his bahu in western outfit, and coming back so late in the night? Secondly, the taxi was not going to drop them off, right in front of their house, but they had to cross the narrow lanes to reach their home. Rajni was being practical when she asked her to change.

They are dealing with her on their own level, and have not involved anyone else, or complained about her to anyone else or done things to bring her stature down in front of other members. Remember, they were publicly humiliated. They just want her to realize. They could have very much talked bad about Suhana to Ishaan, and they have every reason to do that, but they did not. Instead they asked Ishaan to keep her happy always. Isn't that what matters the most when a husband stands with you, and supports you even if the whole world is against you. They taught him to stand by his wife no matter what happens.

Since they are living in that family for so long and completely love the joint family structure, any sign of impending crack worries them. Tell me if a new bride breaks a glass in anger because it wasn't cool enough, wouldn't it raise red flags in any home. Everyone will be worried if she will become part of them or not.

They love pulling each others legs and they were doing the same with Suhana. There is always friendly banter that goes on in families or between friends, how did you get such a beautiful wife man ' look at you. Did they know about her past? Nope. Since, the family is always making fun of each other they did not see any reason to say 'Sorry.'

Also, in most of the Indian families Thank You is not said. They may jump in joy, love the presented stuff and express the same ' but Thank you would be missing. Does it mean there is less gratitude? Nada. Rajni did express that the bag was indeed cool.

Enough of defending bhabhis for the day 😆 😆😆. Enjoyed it.
