Ragini Khanna of Sasural Genda Phool is the niece of actor Govinda but she has never used his name for publicity and she has made a mark on television by her own.
And now after Sasural Genda Phool, she is getting all the good reviews. The journey was not so hard or easy for Ragini but she feels, she has made it. "Whether you are a new comer or anyone's brother-sister-daughter-son or niece or let's say a newcomer, It's your work which counts and nothing else matters. When I started my career it was not easy as I had to showcase my talent through Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, which was totally different from what I am doing today," says Ragini.
Being from Govinda's family, who himself is a great actor and a specialist in comedy, Ragini too feels that it's very hard to make anyone laugh, "See, I can't cry actually. Frankly speaking, it's very hard for me hence rather than that, I chose a light hearted comedy show because it's more difficult to make people laugh. Sasural Genda Phool is a light show which has emotions, drama, fun and love in it," adds Miss Khanna.
She doesn't believe in using glycerine to cry and that's what makes it more complicated. "I can't cry but frankly speaking, hats off to all the female protagonists on TV because it calls for immense courage and strength to portray their roles. In my case, it takes a great effort to get those expression and feelings right. But I can't cry artificially until I don't feel the pain," concludes Ragini, who is happy with the way her career is moulding and is expecting a lot more from the future.
