Saravanan and Kuruvilla try to reach Meenatchi n Madonna thru phone but not picking up the calls.

Meenatchi stops Madonna from attending calls from Saravanan and co.

Saravanan guesses it should be a ploy by Arun to tarnish his image, as he had insulted him before.

Pandi and Radhika share a moment, now kinda explicitly letting each other know about their feelings.

Thirivizha starts with some ritual where everyonne is present except Veluchamy. Pandi excuses his father;s ill health as an excuse and assures he would join in rest of the festivities.

Meenatchi n family arrive. Meenatchi looking bful in a white salwar and matching jhumkis. Saravanan is floored and he does convey it to her thru a call. They laugh over that. Lakshmi shuts her up saying no using mobiles during temple occasions.

Saravanan steals glances of Meenatchi now and then which sends Meenatchi into thinking mode.

Thiruvizha rituals in progress, priest giving sacred threads to those who have special poojas/fasts for the occasion. Saravanan manages to get a few threads for Meenatchi family.

Lakshmi outright refuses to take any thread, but upon seeing Meenatchi's enthusiasm allows her to get a thread for her alone. Saravanan mind voice "one day ithe mathri manjal kayiru un kazhuthula kattuven"

Saravanan takes Sathya to meet her would be. both feel so shy, saravanan makes fun of them and lets them to be alone. they exhange few words of love and care, both content and happy. The guy even gifts Sathya bangles and a phone (this scene was nice, had a smile thru out)

Saravanan spots Muthazhagu at the temple, pretends to be all lovey-dovey with her, decorates flowers on her hair, makes her feed him prasadam etc, Muthuzhagu super elated and all blushing.

Later, after she leaves, his friends warn him and tell him this doesnt seem right. Saravanan says she is playing games and he is playing along with her.

Raji who sees all this also says Muthu is really in love with him, Saravanan laughs it off saying she had done this from childhood, then complains to his father and he gets thrashed. She is playing the same game now. and he is sure there is no love here.

Arun spots Raji alone and asks her to tell her brother to keep off from Meenatchi. Raji retaltiates saying it is Meenatchi who shud be kept away from Saravanan and if he is really a stuff, he should tell this her brother.

saying this she tries to move away, when Arun pulls her stick from her. Raji is struggling to stand when Saravanan holds her and asks what happened. Shoots daggers at Arun who is there hollding her crutch,
