The episode starts with Saras and Danny discussing Kabir and Anoushka's love life and Saras says it is time that Anoushka makes kabir realize how much she loves him.
At night, Saras is faking being asleep and Mrs Saraswatichandra comes and fans him like good old days, both muttering to themselves their resolution to make each other get their "pyaar ka ehsaas".
In the morning, the family is having breakfast. Anoushka comes with her brother and she is very morose. VC tries to reassure her that things will be fine once Kabir cools down. Kabir comes with Danny and naughty Danny makes sure that he sits next to Anoushka. Both are not talking and are eating silently.
Saras is in his room ready for his drama. Kumud comes and his nautanki starts. He wants to eat in his room as he doesn't know anybody there. He accepts to go nevertheless but refuses to take Kumud helps to walk, faking leg pain. Masterni tells him off and gets him in the kitchen. Saras is very amused.
At the table, the family too is playing along with him. Danny wants to have some fun and starts teasing Saras about the food prepared while he refuses to eat giving excuses since Dugbaa has tapped his shoulder and asked him to control himself in front of sheera, dhokla, laddoos... Dugbaa is very amused.
Danny forces him to have methi ke parathas and bittergourd pickles and then gives him a laddoo. Saras feels like beating him. He asks who made the laddoo. It is kumud and he exclaims - my maai makes better ones!
Slip of the tongue! The family looks on!! Kumud asks him to repeat what he said. Saras is in a fix but manages to get out of it by saying that he has no idea who is Maai, he just said that! Dugbaa is not very happy. Kumud thinks that Saras is getting his memory back.
He eats up laddoos made by Dugbaa and then asks Danny to get him in his room. He beats up Danny for his mischief while Kabir laughs. Danny gets a call from the police who tell them about not finding Rohit. When Saras asks if his dad had called, Danny says yes but he has not told him about the accident in detail.
When Kabir comes, Danny moves out and Saras seizes the opportunity to clear the air between Kabir and Anoushka but Kabir just asks him to rest and leaves. Saras goes out and sees Kumud with kites. Kumud proposes him to come and fly kites with her but Saras starts his drama again. He doesn't know how to, he claims. Kumud says he will teach him and starts the story of tez dhaar.

Precap:
The story of SaMud is being told by Kumud when Saras asks about the guy in the story. Kumud shows him the incomplete gift - a wooden boat made by the boy. When Saras asks Kumud why it is incomplete, Kumud replies: "You are that guy, so you only can answer this question".
