You know today when I was watching the episode, I had a sense of what the future would be like for the show.
So if we remove Saras from the scene, and reflect on the episode, this is what we will get:
3 minutes - Guniyal and Vidya romance
3 minutes - the family sitting around planning the next pooja/ tyohar / ceremony, everybody smiling goofily, making inane comments
3 minutes - the current villain / vamp scheming plotting, someone getting suspicious and some red herrings
3 minutes - Danny kusum romance
3 minutes - Kumud romancing with letter
3 minutes - the new hero or his BD doing something whatever
2 minutes - Saras's scenes with BDsundari as Kumud's fb
The remaining time - kabir, Khoti, yash, etc scenes.
To agar yeh sab dekhna hai, toh it will go on for the next six months!
Chalo, ab baat karain aaj ke episode ki
Toh aaj bhi tu alag, mein alag was on for the better part of the episode ! Sundari and dikra had minimal scenes together !
The shirt that Gauti's bd was wearing in the auto scene was different from the shirt gauti was wearing
So the continuity is a thing that has already been murdered, and cvs are not going to be bothered with stupid things like same shirt for the lead and BD.
The episode had a sad, mournful feel, because of Saras - he is scared, and is very very ill at ease, and his fear dominated the episode today.
He is extremely worried that something very very wrong is about to happen that will take his Kumud away from him.
He also is suspicious of Anushka and is keeping an eye on her.
So an episode that was very low and a bit depressing, CVs maar maar ke marenge!
Vidya Gun romance -
Danny - very very cute again
Kabeer - dialogue delivery and expressions nadarad as always
Kumud - same stock expressions, clueless about Saras's emotionally fragile state of mind, but looked exceedingly pretty in her yellow suit
Kusum, anushka, etc etc - also there

So, see it for the udaas pensive Saras, and the clueless Kumud.
