Exactly my point. Gautam knew very well that SO is not using his talent properly and therefore when he got an offer of MK from Arvind Babbal, he accepted it without wasting a second. And it is right why would you stick to a show when the ph has nothing to show and just dragging the story like a crap. But he also didn't want to quit SC as it was his first big project which made him popular among the people. So may be he demanded the ph to end the show on a high note or he won't be available for full shoot of SC as it is not possible for him to do two shows at the same time. But ph didn't want to end the show (even when they know they have nothing to show but just making fool the people) and also didn't accept his second demand of not being available for full shoot. So they have decided to end his character by plotting an accident track and make a way for the new lead to enter in his place as a new character which will later Kumud's new love interest.😔

This is just my imagination which may be wrong and Gautam will be there in SC till its end.

Actually the confusion stems from the fact that it's a Life OK show, which is a sister channel of SP. So obviously the transition is with SPs blessing. Also looking at the MK team, it's obviously a big thing for them, so naturally they must have wanted gauti to be a part of it. Ab if the death track is to enable him to leave without "quitting", then good luck to them. I don't know but the TRP aunties neither like the heroine remarrying, nor do they like long term rona dhona.
