Ek dum khichadi type episode tha
Boring bland insipid

So let us see,

In the episode we saw Kumud making khichadi

We saw her ironing,

We saw her watering plants

All the mundane things of life

And don't worry kumudiya

We were as bored as you by the end of this epi

The scene of family together and Kumud alone was touchingly done though !

Danny and kusum - the spice was missing, the whole thing of kusum listening to Arushka's Bakwas

Was completely unconvincing.

Kabir and anushka scene - I am trying hard to find something sensible in that scene, some appeal,

I really am, but it was just dumb, I am sorry to say

So, do din ke baad mein aayi

Lekin shayad mein aur do char din ki chutti le sakti thi

This clearly was an off day for the cvs

I liked Saras-Kumud phone convo a lot. Finally, they said they are missing each other. And Saras was at his romantic best. They could have done this in RN too but CVs were sleep-walking at that time.

Rest of the episode was surely a khichdi.

But yesterday's and the day before's were good. Wrt. mumbai track. kumud getting locked out and Mr. OCD tyagi offering help was all real. After a looong time a situation was created, built up and used. A daily soap is all about creating situations. We had so many such build ups in SLB days. Saras n Kumud go to city and get trapped in curfew. etc etc. But instead if they show random stuff like today its of no use. But it was kumud's first day by herself. So its ok to show her getting bored.

I have no comments on Kabir-Anushka track. But found Danny-Kusum track good. Danny's character is really shining with Varun Kapoor's acting. Kusum's fears might be a little too much but the track is good.

You really nailed it Arshicsji, about today's episode. Nothing worthy or substantial to write about. However overall this week's episodes (only Mumbai portions) were satisfactory and palatable. The current '6 days' format is problematic and tricky for the cvs, crew, cast and for viewers too who have already compromised on a lot of things to get a daily dose of their favourite jodi. Are new set of writers writing the Mumbai sequence and some freelance writers or juveniles writing the RN sequence now? or Are the same old writers showing vast improvement in writing for Mumbai and at the same time indulging their hidden childhood fancies in writing for RN? What a contrast in their treatment like the way they showed the '2 states' Ratnanagari as well as kumudsundari. As always we can overlook this aspect since the current Mumbai track is like a breath of fresh air as of now. Hope it stays that way through out whatever may be the context in the offing. Saras and kumud once captivated our hearts by the display of their love, charm and chemistry and were deprived of the same at one stage because of the relentless melodrama and also mishandling their characters and relationship. However of late the writers have really given them a new lease of life. Saras and kumud 's relationship is now projected positively and given due attention and rightful treatment. The cvs currently paint their characters in the best light with able assistance from dialogue writers. We don't know if the new-location, new-setup will do any good for the show or the story line, but it has definitely worked in favour of the leads. For the creatives nothing could be more opportune than this present phase to show more real, intimate, uninhibited romance of the 'madly in love' newly married which the loyal fans have been awaiting since their wedding. (BTW fans are still unclear about their SR status.) The Mumbai track started with enjoyable and realistic house hunting scenes followed by an entertaining Mumbai Darshan which finally ended with the perfect 'settling down' process. What a planned and organised course of action by cvs to show some worthwhile and exciting samud moments. Their light hearted interactions, endearing arguments, an exchange of their playful banter, their cute trivial fights, all were super amusing. It is refreshing to be able to see samud in high spirits and their lost charm, closeness, bonding coming alive again. Nowadays we get to see the love and companionship of a wife from kumud which would be a hugely rewarding experience for fans. Kumud is originally a leader who has grit and determination. She has her own way of looking at things and she usually gets her own way. In the past she was portrayed as an arrogant and opinionated woman by cvs. The real kumud is loving and considerate and also sensible and now she is being regarded as having these qualities by the same cvs. (Their perspective on kumud is subject to change). The new found saras and kumud enjoy a harmonious relationship, show concern, sensitivity for each other's feelings, and especially yielding to each other's demands. Samud scenes despite remaining as fillers provide the visual appeal, a welcome relief and are gratifying too. But the excessive use of BDs of the leads makes for unpleasant and unappealing viewing and the most irksome factor for fans because they are unable to connect well with the couple and also their scenes can't create the desired 'samud' effect. Too much sweetness and happiness present in recent episodes are in a way as alarming as the 'ajeeb' house owner. So the twist in the tale has finally emerged in the form of Mr 'creeper'. Is it obsession at first sight just as love at first sight? His characterization is still vague, not exactly known or established. Let's see how it is shaped by cvs (but the scene of him with kumud's dress - again a bad stereotype of lunatic characters by cvs ). One good thing is at present the actor is underplaying his role. Could there be an ulterior motive behind his infatuation? , What exact designs he has on kumud? , Is this formulaic concept of 'pati, patni aur woh' finally the plot for the much awaited Mumbai sequence? All answers are only with our ceevees. (right or wrong? , agreed & logical or not? Who cares! ).

Saras and Kumud were a delight as always, and the whole boredom thing was well shot, when I wrote I was as bored as Kumud, I actually meant it as a compliment, it was so well shot, it actually showed Kumud was trying to fill hours through mundane chores

And getting locked out, yes all real and plausible, and mr creepy decides to take advantage of it.

The way he keeps staring at her is not normal and soon Kumud will wise upto it,

But I feel, that while Saras Kumud playing the normal couple is nice, but it's high time some serious drama started, not the silly stuff like kusum getting insecure without any basis and anushka and kabirs teen games.

Danny and kusum have survived so much, so many serious crises, that kusum getting insecure just because anushka is in the middle of another bout of verbal diaherrea, is unconvincing. Danny has always been the gift giving, romantic, expressive kind of husband and so this didn't work for me!

I guess the writers don't really have a plan for RN wasis except to use them as fillers in the Saras Kumud drama, they want to develop kabir anushka as the next romantic track, but I wish this track was not so kiddish.

The way Mr Creeper keeps staring at the chundana on her neck is really weird, so he is here to cause trouble. Well, bring it on cvs. Can't wait for the next test of their love and how they come out of this crisis. The dupatta stealing was really disgusting. And it's good that the actor is underplaying it, adds a sense of mystery to the whole thing.

As for RN, can the writers please pay some attention to kabir anushka also, if we have to be subjected to their scenes, at least make them good, that whole kabir telling her that he's been drinking since he's five years old was silly!

Why are they fighting, no idea

How old are they, no idea

Who is coming up these brilliant fights, no idea !

Yes parallel tracks are good, but then they should blend into the story

Kabir was a character who was just concocted out of nowhere

Anushka also has been brought in zabardasti, and their romance - very bachkana
