Hi everyone,
I made list of memorable scenes for anniversary thread but could bot deliver on time. Arshi suggested I make a separate post. I see twila n shubh-arambh have made similar posts. But my intention is to make us discuss them again. So lets revisit and discuss.
Note: We can pick some scenes each day.
A quick glance at some of the most beautiful scenes
The tele-conference. The ehsaas starts and takes him on the most exciting and turbulent journey.
Mooh-dikhayee on uttarayan.
Kumud applies haldi on his hands to show him her pain. Beautiful scene.
Their scene in pooja room where kumud asks for forgiveness and saras says she must have seen the same feeling in his eyes n didn't forgive. And the whole convo.
Saras n kumud during gohatya scene... making pottery. The whole track was just beautiful. They were making pottery but it was visual poetry for us viewers.
Dugba-saras scene where she realizes her mistake in not recognizing him. And the gud scene where saras touches her feet. Saras obliges everyone!!!
Saras-kumud scene in the pooja room right after Ilaben gets a cow.
Saras kumud admire each other silently at her school( on the day they want to reveal to vc). Saras looks at her lovingly when she helps a little boy tie his shoes. Kumud watches him admiringly when he pats a little girl on her head.
Saras tries to rag Kumud in front of Kusum n Kumari in the kitchen about the fact that she brought him food the previous night.
Kumud picks bangles of Saras's choice and Saras just smiles seeing it.
Kumud- saras stuck in market and their one-on-one inside that godown. Kumud takes Saras's interview.
Dugbaa stops saras from leaving LN. She says that when there is haq, there is ummeed and it jolts saras. I would recommend people to see that scene again. To see that jolt!!!
Saras opens his mouth finally and says there is something between them. Kumud is shocked. She was upset till then. All her focus right away shifts to his words and what they actually mean and what he might be thinking. Whether he was saying it just like that or he really means them. she is never upset anymore.Just that one tentative line from Saras shifts Kumud's perspective for good.
Sunny helps kumud in opening up his feelings. He says 'wo khud hi devataa hai'. And kumud says 'devataa tho bhakton se ghire rehte hain. par ye tho...'.
Danny later bursts Kumud's bubble of denial when he says 'tho aap yeh sab Dugbaa aunty ke liye kar rahi hain? Maine sochaa...' Beautiful scene.
The cheel-kauwa scene. Saras is ecstatic and devastated within a matter of 60 seconds. Kumud keeps an overnight vigil for him. Kumud's voice brings him out of his confinement and he shows up in the pooja room. His face serene, calm but carrying so much pain and still very vulnerable. It was as if only Kumud meant anything to him.
Saras's expression when he knows from Danny that kumud stayed all night outside the room. An expression that conveys many emotions. Happy that someone cares for her. Sad that he cannot reciprocate that. He opens up to her about his relationship with his dad. Beautiful scene.
Saras surprises Kumud on her birthday. Kumud waits to hear more. They sit in silence not knowing what to say.
Kumud tries to apply medicine on Saras and asks him why he he is so concerned. And he says he has been stopping himself. And the flood of emotions cant be stopped anymore. Kumud's dance in the rain. So full of herself. Saras watches with equal joy. Their eyes meet and Kumud cant stand there any longer. She runs to hide. Dugbaa watches them happy in their own world they just created.
Their confession.
The morning after. Kumud and Saras cant take eyes off each other nor the smile on their faces in the pooja room. Lovely.
The atta scene, haldi scene, mehendi scene and many more. Each so beautiful.
Saras asks for Kumud's hand after being reminded by Guniyal. Very honest, sincere,ernest and touching appeal. Ufff...
Kumud and Saras meet in the backdrop of Sejal's wedding. Both have an utopic look in them. A feeling of having gotten everything. But Saras is craving to fulfill his adhure ehsaas. He is overwhelmed when she washes his feet. And they unite.
Their face-off on the terrace. Kumud cant take it due to the guilt. Saras is shocked and after hearing her he is totally dejected. He says he is equally responsible. And has a look of hopelessness in his face.
Their pre-engagement date by the pool. Saras doesnt want to see her as he is worried that he might not leave her!!!!! Kumud cant stand it and begs him to complete her shringaar by his glance. They make a promise to stay with each other in thick and thin.
Saras n Kumud write to each other on the kite. Saras is helpless in middle of all the family members where he cant even say bye to Kumud. But comes back to give the odhni and a promise.

Saras n Kumud see each other in front of holy fire.
Saras drafts a heartfelt apology to Kumud in the pretext of reaching out to flood victims. Kumud understands but her wounds are deep.
Saras and Kumud try to answer all their questions on what happened on that fateful day. And Kumud runs away when she comes to know that Saras did not betray her.
Their rebirth --- Saras saves Kumud from Pramad n the fire. Kumud is all apologetic with her eyes. They cry together engulfed in a blanket at what happened and what could have been. They hide in a village. Saras thinks she left. But is surprised to see her the next morning. The joy in his eyes is visible.
Saras tries to fly the kite and show kumud how its done. And gives credit to 'tez-dhaar' for teaching him. It was as if like he was taking her back to her past and teaching her how to be her old self.
The patang-dor convo. Saras leaves saying dor will be adhuri. Kumud is full of admiration for him and pleads with him in a letter. Saras rushes back to help his kati patang. They meet in the market. Kumud questions him about his not being around. Like a wife. Saras is embarassed.
Saras hides the samples and shows up on time. Kumud chides him again like a wife with full haq for not being available on phone and giving her a heart-attack. Saras can only say sorry. Henpecked.
Kumud makes Saras inaugurate the school. A sombre Saras who is reeling under the effect of Danny's naaraazgi, reluctantly opens it. To be shocked at seeing his mom's name. He is all tears. Kumud stops him from getting more emotional!!!
Saras says sorry to Kumud through the kids. But again runs away from her for the fear of society.
Kumud is all upset at badi kaki's words. Saras who has been running away from her so far, finally decides its time to stay with her forever. Cheers her up.
Kumud is again distraught on diwali day. Then comes the diya-kaali metaphor. Saras tells her that the diya has to shine so much that it can overcome the darkness created by the 'kaali'. Implores her that they need to come together.
Saras n Kumud have a face-off near the clothesline. Saras asks Kumud with his piercing eyes why they cant have a second chance. She later brings milk for him. Saras tells her only she knows what he wants and cares.
Kumud finally realizes that her feelings for Saras are intact and she cant brush them or supress them. She shows Saras the anklets as a signal of her acceptance.
Kumud convinces Saras that she was given a chance to live only to unite with him. They hug each other at the hospital.
Saras comes to know about PRamad's illness. Hesitates to tell Kumud as he knows she will be disturbed. Kumud is totally shaken. She hugs a little girl in her school who is sick. Saras watches silently. Their actions speak louder than words. Beautiful scene. Hrishikesh Mukherjee style.
Pramad tells Kumud that he is going to US. Kumud, who doesnt like what is going on with Kusum gently taunts Saras that the path is clear for him. Saras tells gently and emphatically that he was not waiting for the divorce. Even her marriage could not separate them. And they walk together silently. Kumud walks as if she agrees to him. Saras correctly interprets her silence as her acceptance!!!!
Kumud and SAras meet in the temple. Saras comes towards her with 'Sindoor'. Tells him that he wants to fill her maang with it. But tells that the fact that she was not willing and forthcoming will always pinch him. And backs off!!!
Saras proposes again. This time its even more emotional.
Saras goes all the way to get a chaniya-choli made with his mom's saree. They come down hand-in-hand. Kumud looks like a doll. Saras looks like a prince.
Saras n Kumud fight 'over n over' over moti.
They get stuck in a cold-storage room. Talk about their future. Though we dont see it happen these days. Saras promises Kumud that he will make her meethi chai. Haye haye.
Saras takes Kumud on a midnight date on their mehendi day. Feeds her noodles.
The sangeet ceremony. Saras is the perfect lover. Carries her and dances. Tells her not to hide her pain and says he wants to share her pain more than her happiness.
The wedding...
Saras looks handsome in his sherwani. The sehra matching his complexion. The tilak on his forehead.
Kumud looks like a goddess. The pink, magenta, the maang tika, the smile -- complete the picture.
Saras puts aside his pain and agony on Dugbaa's advice.
Saras and Kumud take the pheras... Most beautiful. They do it slowly. Unmindful of their surroundings. Wait for each other to step on that stone(what is
it called). And dont need to look back to see where their partner is. They just know!!!
Saras fills her maang with sindoor. Kumud cant control tears of joy.
And the mangalsutra... Saras has the final word on who is going to rule over whom. Perfect...
