Few notes-

It is a given that new PH does not have the finesse of SLB and has a heavy handed treatment...so let that be the assumption for all of the below..

1) Still continue to believe that the PH is 'trying' out this track ...and will wait till the new TRP / TVTs come out (tomorrow?) before deciding the future course...

Why?
Because they seem to have pulled back momentarily from the Pramad imrpovement track ...he is still a psycho boor and today they seem to have more - or - less aligned to the novel...

And yet still kept their options open...

How?
In the novel:
- when the maid exposes Kumud & Saras relationship, Pramad behaves just like he did, his family responds just like they did...but Kumud is thrown out...and saras is not around when that happens.
- kusum comes in Act 4, when the decision to marry saras is taken blah blah..

Currently:
- both of the above have been fused, so Pramad & family behaved like they did & kusum got a step closer to the eventual marriage with saras.
- kumud is still hell-bent on the Pramad reform path
- The elephant in the room (saras & kumud instead of naveen & kusum) is still undecided.

So depending on the TRP / TVT they can go either way...depending on what they show first.
- If Pramad exposes saras & kumud (basis spoilers - saras is dead, kumud runs to saras) and we are back to original novel...kusum & naveen then have to up the ante and actually announce marriage...
- Saras is effectively dead (as per spoilers) and we go on to Pramad reform path..

I am sure the PH will make a bigger mess in handling this...coz they seem to be mostly flying by the seat of their pants ...

HOPING IPK2 has far lower TRPs than expected...so they kill that and continue this..

Regarding todays epi-
1) Think kusum managed the situation the only way it was possible...in the super-charged atmosphere it was just not practical to come clean ...BD's trust would have gone in an instant kumud would have been thrown out...

2) PARTICULARLY since kumud is still having her blinkers on and WANTS to take a crack at her marriage...known to both kusum & saras... So what else could either have done...saras couldn't say I love You and take a willing kumud with him away from BD house...

3) We may curse kusum as an imbecile...but have to admire her spunk...she is 'committing' to a relationship which does not exist ...Of that I am sure, coz at least till now she has not shown any overt inclination / preference / liking for saras as a boyfriend / husband...(Again like the novel, she sacrifices for her sis happiness.).

What is with the K-sundaris...making all these sacrifices at the drop of a hat? 😕

4) Did not like:
- Kumud not screwing Kalika & Pramad royally in public like he did ...Would the old Kumud have done it? Absolutely!

- Kumud the Doormat

- MIL going all TRP serial MIL...my son is a crazy psycho serial killer types...but 'uske dimaag mein kya guzri hogee' and "why did kumud not tell us?,...Really????

- NO REACTION when kusum says I am with Naveen...GR as saras had nailed the despair when Pramad had carried kumud when she fainted...

Methinks.. kumud has moved on...and there may not be a samud ever. If they follow the novel or Pramad reform...sadly they won't meet...

Neways...like the Channel V Bai ad says "Itne Paise Mein Itnaich Kaam Milega"...not worth spending too much thought beyond this on a TRP driven show produced by a PH who does not even understand the characters...All of the Above could be easily junked tomorrow...

@hotdog naveen kusum marriage wont happen...coz kusum parents must know whom their daughter marry naveen kusum cannot fake that extent...plus umes will come handy ...but yes cvs will sure play some hide and seek ...ay be now prmamad will have upper hand and will blackmail kumud or may be kumud will blackmail him...coz she too knows kalika and his affaire...so she will give tit for tat


kumud never gives in when it comes to saras ...he is her dookhti rag ...he can make her strong he can make her weak...and if pramad says he will expose saras surely kumud will go in sherni mode to show pramad his aukaat

why do i feel show will ened in novemeber ...just a guess...coz story is moving pretty fast to end

Depressing phase in the show.. Just not liking the way things are going.. can we actually put the full blame on the makers? I thought this is exactly what GMT wrote in his novel.. Its just that its hard to see a woman of this age, some one like Kumud be so submissive to circumstances...so helpless and weak.. her determination to save the family from any disgrace is costing her own dignity and self respect.. Can her family ever be happy if they know this is the price she paid to save them from malign..

I have yet to watch the full episode.. so it seems Saras did speak up against Pramad.. about time really! hated him for standing there mute and helpless with his fists clenched when Kumud was lying on the floor.. and Kusum? so she is now Naveen's lover..?? Earlier she used to juggle between Saras ji , Saras bhai and jijaji ..now that has settled down to Saras and ''tum'' 🤢 way to go! perfect grounds for some one to propose Saras/Navin - Kusum marriage and they might agree to save Kumud's 🤬

1. In those days women walking out of their marriage was not acceptable, today it is

3. Kumud's marriage in the original did not happen instantly, Saras did not return, and in due course she gave up and got married

4. Navin did not make an entry in her sasural till after many months of her marriage, till then she had no one to turn to and nowhere to go

5. By the time Navin did appear, she had had time to move on, as had he

6. She stuck by pramaad because again of the social setup then, two, there was no Saras in the early days

7. Saras kusum happened as a face saving formula arranged by Kumud herself, and not as a lie to protect a sham

So what was possible and convincing there, is plain idiotic here.

Waise bhi yeh show aaj kal kahaa mann ko chhuti hai... Direct dimaag par bura asar karti hai, aur sehhat ke liye haanikarak ho chala hai. Ab toh isse pett hi bhar gaya hai bas. Rahi baat jo aap ke har din azeez aur behad lazeez CB's ki... Inn zakheero ko paane ke liye toh hum India-Forum's ke kissi bhi jazeere mein aap ka sayaa bann jaaye ge. Aadat jo ho chali hai, aap ki 😳

When CVs decide to keep various options open and base their future tracks solely on audience feedback and TRPs is when the characters and story gets really messed up. The viewers can not relate to their favorite characters anymore!

Who in their sane minds would want a Kusum - Saras jodi? The sister falling or marrying the man is just one of the most creepy relationship IMHO.
