Will some one please tell me the reason why Kusum does not have a mobile phone? In India practically ever Tom, Dick and Hari has a mobile phone. The street vendor, the auto driver, and practically every other person. Then why are VC and his kids acting as if they belong to a bygone era?

Well that must be her personal choice 😆 or in real life she must be owing iphone bt they cant show her so modern 😆

Hey, I really liked your observation. The makers have chosen to set the story in the modern world, based on what they have shown the viewers. It's not that VC is a poor guy, he married off his daughter in a doom dham style, has a huge haveli, they all wear pretty decent clothes and also own a car. He got back his haveli papers, so does not have to pay any loans. I wonder if the makers have some reason to show the VC family members without a cell phone. Especially, in a age when even housemaids and street vendors have cell phones.

How can we explain the following:

1 Saras receiving business calls from clients during his stay with VC family.

2. Sunny receiving girlfriend calls

3. Saras calling Kumud on her Bday, while traveling with his Dad.

4. Danny calling Saras and his Mom Guman

5. Recently, Sunny receiving call from the police station.

6. Kumud calling VC family from her sasural.

7. Alak giving a cell phone to Saras.

8. Kumari's so called ex-BF calling her.

9. Saras calling Kumud from Dubai

10. There was a reception problem once when Saras was trying toreach Kumud, however, at that time she was far away on a picnic.

So the makers have not been consistent.
