If this was a Zee show all the way, why even invite other channels actors and shows for nominations? Kinda, highly nepotist of them, I feel. At least Star does not follow suit, they honor only their own actors, rather than adding to the nomination pool only to send people away dissapointed. Channel politics. At its v best! Hence, every awardee is tainted.

i completely agree with u ilover! at least star parivaar has its own set of awards, then why zee makes it more open to other channels and ends up giving to their own actors/shows!

but i think Zee also have Zee rishtey awards like star parivaar, and Gold awards are for the whole industry but every year it comes on Zee, so that's why i think Zee's show have more liberty, anyways channel politics prevails every where no one can deny this fact.

Not even taking this serious now... It's blind nepotism. And something so v petty about it... Oh how to be the actor who v publicly criticised channel politics and is now happily flaunting whatever awards his channel have bestowed upon him. Would an average viewer feel he is getting awarded for his merits? No (even if he was). Grover, put it best: Channel politics it was then, and channel politics it is today... But why will he say a word considering the coveted trophy is finally in his hands? Principles only mean something when you stick by them when they are inconvenient. Or else, I call it like I see it... Hypocrite.

well if i may say something,qubool hai IS the most popular show right now in terms of both fans n trps...n karan did deserve the award,n if u didnt notice,it was shared with the shiv guy...i dont think it was unfair seeing how all the TRP gaining shows receive the majority of awards as seen in d past thru shows like dabh,uttaran,BV,yeh rishta...now its QH's time...n anyway,karan is the most popular out there...n IMO colors n star have always been partial much more than zee in ITA,the academy awars one aired on star n all...
