This is the scene I was anticipating to watch for a long time.. father son face off because it gives some major pointers about what lies ahead. As far as I know, they have kept this particular aspect close to the novel. Very controlled and powerful acting by Gautam and Chetan both.. the scene had the impact it was meant to have..though I don't think it's over yet.. things that stood out for me in the face off -

1. Despite of the huge emotional upheaval, Saras did not forget Kumud and the heartbreak he caused her by not staying back longer.. he mentioned her couple of times during the heated exchange of words, which gives me hope that he will not ''forget'' her..he may get momentarily distracted but his commitment towards Kumud still stands strong.. He felt he caused pain to Kumud and broke her heart ''for'' his father who didn't deserve to be given respect after what he did to his mother... will he let Kumud go through hurt and pain because of what happened between them?

2. Guman facade gone for good infront of Saras.. he knows she is the one who pre-poned the merger date.. most importantly he knows she is ''dusri aurat'' she is the home wrecker who lured his father into walking out of their lives.. its important to know who your enemies are.. Guman you are now marked as one..

3. He is now Saraswatichandra.. sounds much more powerful without the ''Vyas'' by the way he said it.. he has his own identity without the baggage of his father's legacy..he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone now.. he is on his own..Saraswatichandra- his mother's son.. Today he didn't appear lost, weak and vulnerable, despite of the pain.., the way he appeared before.. he looked like a man with resolve and purpose.. This is the rise of Saraswatichandra..

@ #1, yes, he is not forgetting her. In book too, he is not forgetting. He is just disassociating himself. Despite Sunny's express warnings not to do so! He writes down infamous letter to her " Priya Ramya Vibhavari..." We will wait, what he is doing here...and will compare that letter perhaps...the one he actually regretted through out, later on.

1. U know how u said he mentioned her during the face off nd did not forget her nd then ur last question right what I think is that either he won't let anything happen nd get married to her, or he will have some plan to save her from getting married to Someone else or lastly I feel that he might be late from stopping the marriage but he will do everything he could do to get kumud back! I have said it in many other posts that Saras will now help himself come out of his horrific past to get to kumud!😊

2. Nd yes I felt so happy that Saras found out about that woman nd how's she's up to no good! Now I feel like sooner or later he will stand up to her nd face her nd defeat her like she should have been a lot more years ago! Cannot wait to see that part! In ur face Guaman! HAHAHAHAHHHA 😆

P.s. I think I said this already but loved ur post...nd have u thought about like writing a story about samud if not then u should! Nd trust me the way u wrote this I feel like u can write really good! I don't know why I'm saying this to u but I felt that nd I don't say this to anyone! Think about it nd try writing something on samud! I will be ur biggest fan trust me! 😆
