The storm has hit.. ruffling the tranquillity! the trap has been set very effectively..she made some futile moves in ratnagiri too but soon realized that it's not gonna work there, with Saras firmly supported, shielded and loved by everyone there.. Dukhba and Kumud in particular stood like rock infront of her and her evil motives.. It wasn't her turf..she was powerless and ineffective..Not only Saras and Danny, even Laxmi Nandan didn't seem to be under her spell.. She had to pull them away and get them back in her den..where she sets the rule of the game...Laxmi Nandan, even with his astute business acumen, is a toy in her hands.. I can not give the whole credit to Guman here.. LaxmiNandan is not just a failed businessman today..he is failed father and a failed husband too.. He is answerable to himself.. He should question himself as to why he couldn't make a home in Dubai, something he confessed infront of VC.. yes he has a rich mansion with all the luxury..but is that mansion really a home shared by a family.. ? certainly not ..which is why he went back to his roots to get someone who could turn that house into a home.. his roots..his village and his people..that's where all the love is.. Coming back to Guman.. I wonder where this woman would want to stop.. what can be her ulterior motive and what is it that drives her to hold so much hatred.. I personally think, behind all that beauty and pride (guman), is a very scared and insecure woman.. she hates what she was, and she fears of losing what she has..She knows she got what she doesn't deserve and what is not hers.. She married Laxmi Nandan who rightfully didn't belong to her when he was married.. after his wife's death, if anyone it was Dukhba who deserved to take Saraswati's place ..be Saras's mother in particular.. Instead she sneaked into their lives from nowhere and in no time took control of everything..however, the fear and insecurity of possessing something that's not hers resurfaces whenever she is threatened by the rightful owners.. Dukhba still threatens her even after losing everything to her.. and now Kumud is her new threat.. Not only is she capable of thwarting her plans that she has been executing with clinical precision for all these years.. but she knows that Kumud has it in her ..she has what Guman had years back..youth, charm and beauty that can cloud a man's thinking.. add to it she is pious, righteous and shielded by love of her family, something she never had.. which is why I feel that her motives has gone much beyond hatred now..yes she wants her son to be the sole heir of the property.. but its also her own existence and position in their lives that has been threatened by Kumud.. her evil has been threatened by Kumud's goodness.. in my opinion, that threat looms much larger over her than anything else..she reminds me of the evil queen from the fairytale ''sleeping beauty'' who used to ask the magical mirror who was the fairest of all and the day he replied its not her but princess snow white , she lost it and imprisoned her in the fortress..
So Guman has played her moves well.. ''tamashe ka pehla bhaag'' has both father and son at loggerheads.. the damage has been done from both sides to leave no scope for reconciliation..It seems that Saras was unaware of the reason of his mother's suicide , which makes sense because otherwise he would have never been even remotely respectful to Guman..touched her feet all these years and been dutiful as a son would be to his mother.. With his father, now it seems he will go 10 steps behind from where he was in the beginning.. the grudge earlier was only because of the indifference that he had to bear from his side post his mother's death.. now he knows that the reason for her death was his own father.. How can he bear living in the same house as them with people he knows are directly responsible for his mother's death? one of the priciest possession that he got back after years and years of longing..his father.. is the man who snatched away his life-his mother from him!! he is the reason he was plunged into darkness of despair and detachment for his entire childhood and large chunk of his youth.. the shock and pain of the revelation is mammoth..it will take him down several more notches than before..and it will take her down too.. yes Kumud !! I loved the shot where he turns his back on Kumud and walks into darkness, leaving her in tears..
''Har sukh mein, har dukh mein, paas rehke, door rehke, hum ek doosre ka sath denge..'' that is what will never change..they dreamt of a blissful future together, which will not be so in the coming time, but whatever hits them , they will take it together..like promised..
P.S- Can Danny be the possible chink in the armour for Guman? Her son being friends with the daughter of her biggest foe.. and worse, falling in love, if at all that happens, will be karma.. Laxmi Nandan too, some day , hopefully will realize what a fool he has been..his house could never be a home because he has a home wrecker by his side.. all that glitters is not gold..they say it for a reason..
