The TRP system - some questions - Page 3

Why does star plus depend on trp to judge shows then? Do u think they don't know all this and blindly follow trp figures? Most of the shows they axed(cos of low trp) in recent times were actually bad and didn't have anything substantial or new to offer. I'm confused now!

Like I said every show is being judged by the same trp system, during the same system it was in the top 10 shows 2 weeks ago!

I had come across this when watching a previous show and was really surprised that TRP is calculated in this way. It is actually not a right measurement and depends only on the household who are included in the list so always have been confused how come the channels base the performance of many shows on the TRP's ? It should actually be the response of the whole customers rather than a minority but anyway as long the show does well think we shouldn't bother much about this.
