Lovely post hun !!..
You have said it all about this perfect man :)
So kind hearted .. So gentle .. So moral..So protective he possesses all the qualities any girl would want in a guy ! He is portrayed to be the perfect husband !!
He knows what it is like to be left on your own, he knows what it's like for your world to fall apart .. He knows what it's like to loose the person you love the most .. This clearly shows that he puts up with a lot of things because of the way he has been brought up (his mother saraswati) the level of respect he has and the traditions he follows shows he has been brought up well !!
He doesn't want to hurt anyone intentionally but he does so with kumud unintentionally the way he goes about expressing his emotions are very different .. He does get angry but this is a defence mechanism he puts forward to show that he is not weak.. To hide his pain!.. he's a family guy and he respects his elders this from his upbringing of his birth mother. He knows his step mum is a nasty piece of work but he also knows that he shouldn't give her the upper hand which is why he stays quite most the time .. He is not stupid he knows exactly what she is like but he still respects her as she is his dads 2nd wife...
With kumud .. He doesn't want to fall for her because he doesn't want to hurt her .. He would sacrifice himself to see her happy.. And she would do the same .. Both are very similar in thought but both can be very different with emotion! They don't speak with words they speak with their eyes ..
Saras is just so handsome I can't take my eyes off him !! He is beautiful !!

Saras Saras Saras... This man is really making me question over and over again.. "Does such a man really exist in today's world???"
Such a character is often called "Mr. Perfect." But the perfect name for this perfect character with some not-so-perfect flaws is "Saras!"Saraswati Chandra is every bit a personification of what both Godess Saraswati and Chandra (Our Moon) symbolize. The purity of Saraswati and the calmness of the Moon is clearly evident in his every gesture. However, its the name by which he is affectionately known that I find to be Bau Saras!! ("Very Good" in Gujarati). So what is so Saras about Saras????1. Saras Attitude: How many of us and how often have we wanted Saras to confront Guman for being a total 𤏠? Does he not know right from wrong, evil from good? So then why does he put up with it? He doesn't just put up with it, he does it with Saras-ness. Ever since she has come to Ratna nagari she has openly tried to sabotage the family and its honor but Saras hasn't once stooped to petty argument or drama with her. After re-uniting VC and Guniyal, how easily did he go upto Guman and say, "All credit goes to you, 'Mom,' Thanks!" Everytime he bows down to touch Guman's feet, I cringe! But Saras shows over and over again that a common man may react with anger and disrespect but a Saras person will always react with Saras-ness despite what is thrown at him.Point to be noted: He convinces VC to forgive his wife and keep the family's honor. Yet throughout the pooja, he stood in the back, blended among the rest of the guest while witnessing "his" family celebrate. If that is not magnanimous, I don't know what is!2. Saras Intentions: Ok so we all know that he never intended to hurt anyone but himself.. lol but thats not what I am talking about here. I am talking about his intentions with Kumud. I find it hilarious that people call him Kamarchandra! He does seem to appreciate that kamar a lot and he's been no stranger to romantic gestures. What I find most intriguing though, is the innocence and sincerity with which he carries out his deeds! Whether its gently moving Kumud's hair from her face, staring at her from a tree or while making a pot, lending a strong shoulder to rely on or gesturing to clear his favorite view in front of fifty people - He does it as if its the most casual thing in the world - no need to hide, deny or regret. On the flip side, he is just as casual when authoritatively shushing her in front of her entire family and the entire village. The purity and transparency of his feelings is undeniable and the innocence with which he executes is a part of his Saras-ness that I adore!3. Saras Looks: Of course, I had to mention this. There's no way this angelic yet dashing face along with the sculpted physique can be ignored.đ Especially when wrapped in a traditional Kurta!đSaras to me means the good-ness this character portrays. He's no superman and he has only relied on his Saras-ness to solve problems and win hearts. Of course, all this would have not been possible without the man who makes this character come to life and makes me want to wish and hope that he exists. Mr. Gautam Rode, to me, you are and forever shall remain Saras!
And she is back! Missed your posts past few days. Superb post.
Innocence, purity, transparency, sincerity, humility, patience and saras-ness are the characteristics that come to mind when one thinks of Saraswatichandra. Honestly, such a man is hard to find in this day and age.
I heard Gautam recently in an interview and have also heard few other actors in the past mention that some of the qualities and characteristics they portray in their onscreen characters are inherent in them as well. SO the portrayal of those characteristics is easier and more convincing. If it is true, Gautam Rode is one of those men who are extremely rare. The innocence and saras-ness one sees in the character onscreen can not just be acting. Saras in many ways is a reflection of Gautam Rode. Saras is a gem and kudos to Gautam Rode who portrays him effortlessly.
@ bold - dittođ Gautam Rode, to me, you are and shall forever remain Saras
