I doubt she would be with Guman

firstly her mother hates guman

and kumari has shown lots of love and positive feelings towards saras! she really likes her Jiju

He will take care of this too. Sahasrai, Dukhbaa's husband was a fugitive from his creditors in book. I think here they might have adapted him as someone who had done sone financial larceny against LN and Saras may pardon him...or something alike?? Kumari's errand is a 'suspense' trick.
