I challenge men just by being me. It just can't be helped. Kumud types unfortunately has an emasculating effect on men. But real men don't shy away from her. That's why Saras is so special..

The audience must be from 16th century !!!She shows a 21st century girl and she is perfect. People have the same old mindset that girls should be shy and sharmili, not at all bold and should be very SLOWWW !!!! But Kumud is different and we love her in this type of a character !!!

Plenty of 21st century guys can't take a woman with strong character these days either. I don't think it is a generational thing, just speaking from experience. But yes, many can.

Yeah , thats a real pity for us , GIRLS !!!! If we remain quiet and shy , thats a problem and if we are bold then we are weird too. God knows !! For me , Kumud is perfect !! <3

Such character is new to television, esp since she is from a village. She is a no-nonsense girl. Moreover, even if today's girls voice out a lot, itz like they do it for themselves, but in this case, Kumud speaks for others too. They have shown her getting computer/net to the village n then standing up for Saras, who has rejected her. Which ordinary girl would do that?

Agree with U .

Kumud represent today's girl.So refreshing to see a character like Kumud. Which is not the typical TV heroine type.

I am surrounded by ordinary girls like that. Maybe my sense of what is normal is different.

But then, she's bold for Saras too and he's an NRI. A very tolerant one. And he's scared of her 😆

well said!! i think sometimes if a girl from a subdued background is logical then she's labelled manipulative...it's refreshing to see that kumud acts based on logic an not just emotional overreactions.
