Slow isn't necessarily BAD.

Maybe I'm still attached to my 3 hour Bollywood movies but I really do not understand the big fuss if the pace slows down slightly in SC. I would much rather have the writers create a solid foundation for the future storyline and actually have tracks in mind rather than showing off all their aces in the initial episodes only to have nothing left to show in the latter. It is a daily soap, of course there will be dragging. But can we really call it dragging? The screenplay is so beautiful. There aren't any useless scenes. They all matter and add depth to the story which is so necessary for a long term run of the show. The slowest episode of Saraswatichandra will have more meaning than a fast-paced episode of...(*inserts many serials*). But I guess we live in a generation where ILU is preferred to 'I love you'😛

Anyway, back to today's episode. A very good wrap up to the Gau Hatya track (kind of seeing as though Saras will go to jail). What a power-packed scene with Kumud interrogating Badi kaki! Jennifer was so brilliant here. Kumud is such a strong character, she's relatable yet inspiring. Her relationship with her Bapu is so heartwarming and integral to the show. I have a strong feeling that this dynamic will play a very important part to the BIG twist in the show.

Precap seemed like a snippet of a dramatic movie trailer. Gumaan is a freak without a doubt and kind of dances like one 🤣 But she's interesting! How I wish they interplay both scenes of Saras-Kumud and Gumaan dancing tomorrow like it was shown in the precap. The music was so intense! Loved hearing it on SK than I did on Gumaan. I would LOVE to see Kumud dancing actually!!

Thank you ! 😃 And I dont think its slow anyway. its like prologue of a novel.. The characters have to be well established and the plot has to be laid properly for the drama to unfold. I see people complaining about why VC is not telling LN about the gau hatya. Ideally he should tell but we have to understand that its for a reason. There will be lack of trust , misunderstandings and accussation of backstabbing between the two friends and VC hiding the fact from LN will part of that huge feud. the character of Saras has to stay back in Ratnagiri for more than one reasons. the gau hatya track was a perfect track to let that happen because it not only helped the romance bloom but also opened up Dukhba's heart to Saras .She herself accepted that she should have known that he is Saraswati's son and not influenced by Guman like she thought. Only a noble act as big as doing prayashchit to save the family honor could have done that. Any episode that goes without Saras Kumud romance is apparently a waste .

About todays episode, I think it was great wrap up to the whole gau hatya track. Ila ben accepting the cow from Saras and asking '' ab man ka bojh halka hua?'' was such a nice gesture. Kumud interrogating badi kaki was excellent . I particularly loved the moment when she throws her bag in anger and reprimands her. PHEW! Kya gussa hai ! Think she inherited Dukhba's anger genes LOL Precap has me confused.. I have no clue what that letter holds so I am anxious.. Guman looked like a pschyco while dancing.😆.adds flavor to her evil character!

I agree . I don't mind the drag.. I wont even call it a drag
We can't have romantic scenes in every episode
I like the pace of the show

I do want CVs to pick up a pace (good pace)...Yes we don't want all romantic sceans all the time...but need story to be unfold.
In this age when we have numerous options to watch on TV, if they keep dragging it, I am sure this show will lose viewers an TRP will go down.
Best show must have = good pace story+twists+romantic angle.

agree that slow doesn't = bad...BUT...it's frustrating, they are logical characters but emotionally stunted! I love watching Samud but it's annoying now that the only thing happening is no communication between them and guman continuing to plot like an evil witch

...seriously guys, this story needs to turn around, it's too intense and there are no emotional rewards with the exception of VC and kumud's scene today and Dughba and Saras

its not even the pace..the scenes are quite redundant between kumud and saras and most of the intense scenes are not being properly conveyed by both the actors which totally kills the purpose of the scene.

I agree with your post! I think a lot of today's shows are so fast paced... within a few short months they lose their essence. Suddenly romance scenes don't really excite me because if the plot doesn't "drag," as we're deciding to call it, they aren't worthy of being shown because an exasperating, unrealistic plot always seems to correspond with them. And that's what I think the definition of a tv show losing it's essence, its core drive is.

But I think because the plot is so heavy, it's daunting. And in order to be heavy, it's important to show everyone's emotions. I think a lot of shows overdo emotions, yet only touch up on them in a superficial way. Saraswatichandra is really acing at keeping its essence, keeping us connected to it by really giving human reactions to all its developing characters, and allowing itself to play out beautifully. If it's slow now guys, it's bound to get better. After all, slow and steady wins the race! 😊

amazing post👏 i too love the pace the pace the show is going at... they're only focusing on one story line right now and taking their time with it unlike other shows who try to overlap so many storylines the show eventually just becomes bizzare ... every scene seems fresh to me... something amazing is coming thats why the buildup is a little slow... and i too can not wait to see tomorrows epi... gumans dramatic dance scene with samuds scene...
everything is going perfectly well with the show they should definitely not fast pace it
