Lady J, I tried so hard to watch Monday/Tuesday episodes but Devi Maiyya ki kasam - I couldn't stand the rona-dhona and the always filled in gloom house. And the top of the class sets and location also couldn't reel me in. And seriously if I see more more time the neck clenching of the actress to show that she is crying or worried or feeling bad, I want to throw something at the screen - But then again I don't want my TV to get ruined just before the start of something that promises to be what I want to relax. Looking at the way the 2 episodes went I don't even want to see how the master director wants to take the show ahead and it is less than 1 month for this show to be on air. Compared to this the old movie seems to be a good one to rewatch if I have enough time in AD to Satyanash. For the time being I am very busy and I seriously am finding MasterChef better entertainment than the great bhansaliji's dukh baari daastan. And my feelings are 100% on with you for this statement

The pain and the wailing and the drama are too persistent, too pervasive, and just too damned LONG

And if somebody has the patience to follow it good for them. I seriously don't have any time nor energy to follow this daastan so it is cut it for me.

@ exactly my feelings. It is like both want to show who can hurt the other hardest. Are they sure they are not sadist. In the old movie at least both the leads are dignified and convey their thoughts in letters and I can't even believe that my favorite song 'Phool bheja hai tumhe' comes during this phase in the movie and the mahan directorji has twisted it to - who is the bigger sadist.

Superb take Jamba 👏 I seriously cannot connect with the lead actress Kumud her expression is not upto the mark and she doesn't give the right expression too and I do find her really lost in this show.. Gautam as Saras is doing a fabulous job but the girl Kumud really annoys me.. Patience has beginning to wear out and if Bhansali sir plans to continue this Rona dhona for another 7 years then Best of luck to him 🤢 as chemestry wise is really not working especially the lead actress expressionless aren't gonna take the show anywhere far 🥱

I followed the WU on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and watched (!!!)the episode on Thursday and only felt a sense of doom pervading my bones.The female lead only knows how to frown and purse her lips and the machinations of Saraswatichandra's mind is a maze to me...the mind the boggles!!!
Can someone peeleez tell me why Saras rejected Kumud? Bhy ? Reasonwa kaa hain? Bhy this angst? Bhy is there so much of emotional wringer in first three weeks ?

JambaJi, Any Take 5 for this week or is it that we are supposed to do away with Take 2 only for this week. Anyway I am out of SC now that the new show we are all eagerly awaiting for will start from today. If your intentions are the same then let's have a Alvida Take 5 and go out. What say.
