In the initial episodes when Kusum asked Kumud why she said yes to the marriage after seeing Saras' eyes, she said she saw hidden pain in those pair of eyes which she wants to share. Today, unintentionally she got onto his wrong nerves, something he was trying so hard to forget but before those wounds could heal she brought back the most traumatic day of his life. After finding out the truth, here begins the story of pain, unhealed wounds and redemption.

Though I am scared this could go either side, I am hoping he lets her in. In the precap Saras looks heartbroken and lost, who as a child has seen his mother commit suicide in front of him, the memories of that day still haunts him. This can also make Saras shut down completely and blame Kumud for pushing him into the past which can result in him building high walls around the heart he was ready to give her few moments ago. It surely will be tough for her to break in now that she has made this huge mistake even if it was unintentional.

Spoilers say that Saras agrees for the marriage so maybe he forgives her. I know that Kumud was unintentionally insensitive today but she is not a mean person by nature and she is repenting what she did. But you raised an important question: if Saras will have it in him to forgive her so easily. After all, this was the most tormenting memory of his life, something he has been hiding all these years. Kumud has opened his raw wounds and he is now extremely vulnerable. It is very evident that Saras was fighting his trauma. Part of me actually thinks Kumud probably did him a favour. He needed to get all that out of his system...

Eventually we all know he is going to agree for the marriage but the million dollar question is when and what will be needed from Kumud for that. If you look at it she isn't much at a fault as she was totally blind sighted to his past so you can't blame her as well. She was just trying to get back to him for the bet he had just won. And he knows she isn't a bad person, yes she has her share of flaws but isn't mean hearted at all but when a person is in pain to this extent they don't tend think right. I agree Kumud might have just done a favor on him as this time he might get some closure. He was very young at the incident actually happen but now that he is old enough to understand the chances of him overcoming this are high.
