Saraswatichandra, based in a time where community, religion, society, tridition were held more important than the happiness on the person.
in 1920 Saraswatichandra and Kumud sacrafised their love for eachother on the alter of duity, and religious triditions and community norms.but this Saraswatichandra is set in the 21st centurary, year 2013. where people have decided to do away with old fasion ideas, and love can be found and fought for over and despite all odds. triditions take a back seat, and lovers are strong and educated know that they are free to choose the person they want to sepend the rest of their life with.
in 2013 we believe that love conquers all. but will Saraswatichandra of the 2013 be different from the Saraswatichandra of 1920.
if not then we know how this story will end. with lovers not meeting
or will bansali give it a morden day twist and end the story with lovers meeting.
sad stories always make me cry. and i always want love to trimphant despite all odds.
please Bansaliji saraswatichandra and kumud are epic characters, every person can identify with them. but no one would want to suffer their fate.
