Not only is Rahul Singh a great actor, but also, with SKBM and Brij, he has gotten hold of a role of a life-time!!!

This character is like an ICONIC male lead for any TV show!!!!! And, today's episode just took this fact and Brij's character to that extent of brilliance. Brij is romantic, and caring, and intelligent and shrewd and manipulative and calculating... all in 15 minutes!

I wonder if they'll consider adapting this story for a full-fledged movie! With RS playing the male lead in his inimitabe style, of course!

More specifically- Brij ordered the hit on rangoli and mrityunjay, i am sure. this way he ensures that rangoli and daddaji get scared for rangoli's security and rangoli stays in the house---- which means less chances of her nosing around in Brij's business... also i think brij planned to get mrityunjay killed... that way rangoli does not have trusted henchman, as crazy as her, doing all that she bids, and more!

which further cements my doubts that brij might just be responsible for getting puja killed. It seems he can do anything to maintain a clean record for himself and the party which is responsible for putting him in the CM office!

Nope...I don think Brij will EVER order Pooja's killing...
he went to the extent of getting Rangoli shot which if Daddaji finds out can be fatal for him and his career but he still did it just for Pooja...

brij is doing everything only for puja's safety ...otherwise he could shoot rangoli earlier for her behavior with him...

@AB - the precap was a mix of scenes from today and tomorrow so it was super confusing. 😕

The precap wasnt clear... either they still havent found aarti or something bad has happened with her... which is why puja breaks down. Pretty ambiguous, the precap for tomorrow... so cant say, really.

Also, i agree that brij is trying to save puja and might have ordered the hit on rangoli to keep puja safe... but really its HIS secret... the one thing that will be badly harmed if people find out about his relationship with puja is HIS social and political image.True, he could've had Rangoli shot at earlier, but then she was just rude to him. Now she has started digging into his personal secrets. That is something brij cant take, maybe because he has other skeletons in his cupboard which need hiding, not just the whole PUJA situation.
Again, i am just speculating along these lines because i want the CVs to take Brij's character along those lines where viewers like us are torn between love for his sweet side and hate or atleast some revulsion towards his manipulative ways. That gives RS a lot of scope to show his skills a handling complicated characters. I speak for myself- i am really sick of seeing either absolutely rotten guys or the horribly good, 'aagyaakari' honest leads on tv/ movies. No more extremes please!! Let the CVs spice up BBP a little... that way Rs can have some fun playing him and we can have our share of excitement while watching him!!

Another example along those lines- Mrityunjay- he is a bad guy, rangoli's henchman, can go to any extent to please her... maybe even if it involves kidnapping/torturing/killing innocent girls... and still some of us on this forum like him coz Mrityunjay's been written in an itersting manner- he is bad and yet he is quirky, he is fun to watch... u wonder while watching his scenes-- 'God!! he is the bad guy ... yet... why am i liking his scenes so much????'

I guess thats what i am trying to say about Brij,,,,, all these angles the CVs have given him make him multi-dimensional ... a treat to watch!!

I am actually glad that it is not on star plus. Starplus only allows popular serials and axes non-populars even with good storylines very fast and too suddenly. Its brand revolves around the the Tom and Jerry theme of Saas-Bahu torture; lovers torturing each other; bahus torturing each other etc., etc. but the shows are brilliantly simple and dont need neurons to watch them - hence their success. SKBM has had a rocky patches and this in itself would have made SP wrap it in 2-3 weeks!! Since Life Ok is trying to be new, it is experimenting with different concepts and hence we are lucky!! Also we get to see it at a timeslots when DABH and MKAP would make raita out of our brains - the only positive point being I was never addicted to those and actually watched news channels at those times. on the otehr hand SKBM...😡😡😡

Both BBP and Pooja are a corrupting influence on each other simply by existing...

I too am very curious to know BBP's antecedents. Who is he really? Where did he come from? Why do they say he grew up at the haveli yet ran away? I do not think he is squeaky clean but I also doubt if he will end up killing Pooja (unless she does something to inadvertently set him off; and the ding dong that she is you never know!). He has married Rangoli for political reasons...and the psycho that she is, she resents she is not the center of his universe as she is with her dad. I agree, candyfloss (especially stupidly enraged ones that abuse the female protagonists) heroes are a waste of time for me...It is not just BBP's character but daddaji's, mrityun's, Giridhar's, mammiji's ...all of these have been well thought out and are interesting. I like the fact that Rangoli is a fearless female, though the portrayal of her character is very uni dimensional.

When BBP- the character was introduced initially he got me thinking about Baba Amte who once said "I don't want to be a leader; I want to be a mechanic who goes around with an oil can and offers help when he sees a breakdown"...these are pretty much BBP's words to Pooja when repairing the bike in Pachmarhi.. My suspicion is that they have written an uplifting character with devious shades of grey...I think BBP means well but, ultimately, the slippery road he takes will be the one through which people will set him up. In spite of the occasional rough and choppy patches in the serial I am all admiration for the characters...sort of like if one sets religion and the morality police aside, the Mahabharata makes for a great read of some really complex human characters!!
