Second Vihaan was shown as a naughty character but after the prank episode, he just turned plain evil.
Third Rachna though she was always dependent and rather brainless suddenly grows a brain and accuse Gunjan of stealing her love( ya right)
Four Gunjan what the hell is wrong with her she was the smart, witty, and a strong person but now she has turned into something completely different now she is helpless, and basically acting dumb.
The cvs have ruined all the characters, the only constant character are seema and sangeeta

I see your point but there is certain aspects to it that I don't agree. I mean human nature is not going to be always behaving the same way.
I feel that Mayank is a positive character- 'ek acha kandani ladka'...obedient, resposible and from a joint family. He was shown later on that he did not trust Gunjan. He believed others and quick to judge that she might not be able to adjust to his families needs because she is from Bombay. I think that is not because he is spineless or anything mean, it must be complex issues. This characteristics could be in a regular person. A person does not have to be negative to have a little bit of ego issues.
Rachana is shown from the very dependent. I wouldn't say brainless but she never had to probably make any decisions in life. All was done for her and always protected from the outside world. A person like that can be naive and deceived very quickly. She should have trusted on Gunjan after leaving with Gunjan for this long. But she is so innocent that when Vihann (her so called love) pointed Gunjan as the reason and she quickly believed him. She didn't even think that Gunjan is not over yet with Mayank. It will take time for be over her 1st affair and there is no possibility of her switching partners this fast. But then again she is not using brains but just believing what she heard without questioning it or thinking logically.
Gunjan- A smart, witty person acting completely dumb. I see a point here. She should have been able to make a judgement that this kinda deal of 1 week fiancess is not real. She is so protective of Rachana that she thinks her little sacrifice or accepting punishment for her initial mistake will clear all issues. I still think her character is not changed but even the smartest person can be emotionally blackmailed. Just because she fell for this time to Vihaan's talk for 2-3 days, it does not mean that she will become weak. Once she realizes her stupidity, she will be back to her real self and teach Vihaan a lesson. Overall, the hope is her character should not change and is only shown to weaken due to her sister love.
Vihaan- Ek bade ghar ka bigda beta- I think his ego issues has been shown from the beginning. He is naughty and playing this prank but probably does not realize the pain he is causing. I really cannot think that he is bad either. Esp seeing his love for his bro and Rajiv defending him. I mean to an extent he understands that Rajiv is a better person and he loves him a lot. So, I have a feeling he will not completely negative either and only annoyed that these girls were able to trick him. I still feel that he could be straightened out.
None of these characters have to change completely. These are all different reactions we have without being completely positive or negative. I don't know but this is my thoughts😉
