I am not all that surprised by Mayank's half-brained approach and behavior.
First of all, he didn't have guts to confront his parents about not wanting to get married to Charu until the last minute and now this stupid suicide threat to Gunjan. What the hell?
Now, one could argue that he tried talking to Seema and Parabhu about this. But, is this the way to discuss it? We all know how he has handled this situation is so childish, stupid, and SPINELESS.
These are all the reasons that I never wanted Gunjan to be with Mayank.
How will a guy like Mayank protect his wife from a greedy mom like Seema if he has no spine to even tell them what he feels?
All he can do is complain about "Koi mujhe samajhta hi nahin hain (No one in this house understands me)"
