As i watched yesterday's epi, i was reminded of a scene from the movie Bend it like Beckham. When Rachana's coach went home to talk to Dayal about how good his daughter was, the scene from the movie flashed back into my head where Jesminder's coach had gone home to tell her parents how good she was.
Both these coaches took a risk of being humiliated by the girls' fathers just to support said girls. they believd in the girlss ability and skill to play the sport. they did not care what society thought about girls playing sports, they supported them.
Now i am hopeful that Rachana would end up with her coach just like in the movie...😆
i just thought i'd share this with you guys...
