CWG opening ceremony was a very big hit. It was spectacular, the best CWG opening ceremony the world has ever seen. But at the same time, I can't and won't deny the corruption which took place. And who is demeaning India? It is the Indians who make India dirty. People who are corrupted like Kalmadi. People like me who do nothing but talk. People like those who leave the country and go to another place for work..

Precisely. The same reporters were those who printed photos everywhere regarding the CWG games village to make it a laughing stock. Did we? Who did it? The reporters themselves, and the reporter themselves are making quotes here. Laughable indeed.

its not that you are at fault or I am at fault or viceversa..like you, I have also discussed how Kalmadi cheated etc...but, when we make a big hype about the "weaknesses of our country", the same hype we do not create while highlighting the "good points"...many of discussed about "kalmadi's corruption", but with the same intensity, the "succes of the opening ceremony" was not discussed...day before yesterday, a person from another country was discussing how poorly India is arranging CWG...which is a damn lie...a NZ reporter talking shit about "Sheila Dixiit", she can be criticised but there should be a decency in the language...when Sheila Dixit is being criticised, instead of protesting, many Indians, might have also added fuel to the fire...

I agree that everything cannot be perfect and will have it's loopholes. But sadly, those loopholes always get highlighted.

Yes, India is doing it's best to make everything smooth. But truth remains that, not everybody can be satisfied in a very small amount of time. That's why the uproar. And as for those racist comments, it's a big joke. I am not a fan of Sheila Dixit, but even if it was against Kalmadi, I would have protested. Indian or not, racism is racism, and NO idiot should get away with it.
He resigned from the show, I am happy.

And as for those people leaving the country, I was talking about CWG only. People who were outside said that CWG was like a shame for all of them. I was talking about that aspect.
