'Ek Rishta....Dard Ka!' AnGini FF (Part 3 Pg 6)

Part-1

Anmol Sareen/Rajvansh was engrossed in one of his official file even after a week of business trip. His day-off was no different from week days. The weather was warm and nice; being at home, brought a pleasant smile on his face. His constant eye-contact with his computer broke when he heard someone shrieked. He came running to window and his eyes searched the lawn for the source. A name came out of his mouth as his eyes concentrated on the person.

"Ra..Ragini!!"

"Aaaaaah!!!"

The pain was excruciating for Ragini. She clutched her right arm as if it could reduce the pain she felt. Her right wrist was bleeding due to broken bangles. As she stood up, she saw worried faces kids looking at her. Putting a fake smile on her face, she said,"Arre! aap logo ne aise chehre kyon bana rakhe hain. Mein bilkul theek hoon."

"Are you sure, Chachi?" Guni asked.

"Haan Guni, Mein theek hoon..Aap log khelo mein abhi aayi."

Ragini assured Guni and turned to leave. Her fake smile was taken over by pain she could not bear and some drops of sweat appeared on her forehead. Her feet were heavy with pain but she forced them to walk and tripped over something. Before her knees touch the ground, she felt a soft grip on her left elbow and she collasped in his arms. The heat outside made her head spin and pain was spreading from shoulder to back. His voice distarcted her,

"Aap theek to hain, Ragini?"

She heard him asking; she opened her eyes and tried to smile. He made her sit on grass and his gaze traveled on her right wrist; some scratches turned purple and some had drops of blood on them. He saw her struggling in pain as she clutched her knee. "Kya hua, Pair (feet) mein dard ho raha hai?" His concerned tone dominated the statement. "Shayad, Thodi si moch aa gayi hai." Ragini replied. He sighed and next moment Ragini felt herself being picked by two strong hands. His voice sounded closer than ever as he said, "Bachchon chalo ander chalo."

Due to her pain, She might have not notice the stir she felt while being picked but Anmol's grip loosen up when he did. He laid her down on the bed as he entered the bedroom. "Guni, tum Tammy aur Khushi ko unke room mein leke jao." Anmol told Guni and guni nodded obidiently. Guni took Tammy and Khushi away and Anmol got up to leave the room. The pain was not tolerable for Ragini so he went to kitchen and saw Guddi and asked,"Guddi, Kya ek glass 'Haldi-Dhoodh' Milega?"

"Haldi-Dhoodh, Kyon Anmol Bhaiya?..."Guddi started her interrogation 😆

He was not in a mood to listen to her so he interrupted, "Please tum Yeah 'Haldi-Dhoodh' Ragini ko upar room mein De do aur ho sake to ek Bowl mein garam paani aur ek kapd bhi" He was about to leave the kitchen but he paused to look at confused Guddi and said,"Mein abhi aaya, ek Zaroori Call karke." She nodded.

He took his mobile out of his pocket and started pressing some numbers. When someone on the other side answered, He spoke, "Doctor Mishra mein Anmol Bol raha hoon kya aap Rajvansh house aa sakte hain....Okay!....theek hai....Hurry up!......Thank you!!" He hung up the phone and walked toward his room.

She leaned on her pillow as Anmol exited the room. Her left ankle was hurting and right arm was stiffen. How did that happen?? It was a fine day when she joined Gunni, Khushi and Tammy in the lawn outside. After watching them play a game, she was remebered of Sadhna. She never realised how easily she slipped in memory lane of her chilhood when Sadhna and Ragini played on terrance. Life was very beautiful with no worries. Summer vacation brought lots of adventure for them and they explored them with enthusaism. When a memory surface itself in her mind, a feeling of being a child arose in her and she smiled. Tammy & Khushi's chuckles brought her back to reality where girls were struggling to get the ball. With one kick, Tammy-Khushi won the game. Guni pretented to feel bad and Ragini saw her effort. GIrls noticed their only audience watching them with a smile. Tammy and khushi ran and hugged her.

"Maasi Ma, Tammy aur hum Game jeet gaye." Khushi informed her.

"Haan," Ragini seemed interested.

"Haan, mummy, Hum ne phir se Guni didi ko jeetne nahi diya." Tammy added.

"Tum log itna achcha jo khelte ho" Guni praised them.

"Achcha koi baat nahi ab andar chalke kuch kha lo" Ragini said

"Maasi ma, Sirf ek aur Game aur ..aap bhi kheliye hamare saath Bahut maza aayega" Kushi insisted

"Mein aur game....nahi khushi mujhse nahi Khela jaayega." Ragini tried to excuse herself

"Chachi, ek hi Game ki baat hai Khleijye phir hum Andar chaleingein" Guni supported Khushi.

"Yes, Mummy..mein aur Guni didi....aap aur khushi, Okay!" Tammy said in excitement.

Teams were decided instantly but Ragini hesitated. It was hard to refuse so she agreed. After few kicks, she was getting hang of the game. Her memories took her back to her childhood again and she could hear Sadhna and herself running from place to place. Their chuckles were more real now and she couldn't just feel but see her childhood memory. In a jiffy, she lost her balance she fell from beautiful memory and landed on the ground of reality that gave her nothing but pain at the moment. Her broken bangles dug her flesh deeper and pain grew stronger in her right arm. She didn't know that some more pain was few steps away to bear. Now, Her ankle was sprained and she ended up on her bed; her right arm rested on her lap and she clutched her left feet with a hope that pain will disappear. She was feeling light-headed and sun was shinning outside mercilessly. Her peach color 'Shalwar-Suit' had some muddy spot on it now. A knock on door broke the endless silence. She saw Guddi standing there with a glass of ...No it was not water..What was it then??

"Bhabhi. yeh 'Haldi-dodh' hai aap ke liye"

For the first time, Guddi's word surprised her; Guddi did something what Ragini really needed. Now, all Ragini wanted to drink 'Haldi-dodh' so she would feel a little better. Guddi brought the milk and kept it on the table beside the bed. Ragini wanted to grab the glass but she was reminded of pain again. Guddi left the room as soon as her job was done. She had to turn and pick the glass carefully with her left hand but her body would not allow it. She rested her head on bed-board with a hope that someone would pass by and she would get some help. She felt a familiar presence and opened her eyes to see Anmol entering the room.

As a habit, she tried to smile but her eyes didn't support her. He saw the 'Haldi-Dodh' untouched and reached near the bed and asked, "Aap ne Haldi-Dodh' nahi piya?' The curiosity was clear in his tone.

"ap....abhi pilongi...thori deir mein" She hesitated to tell him the reason but he quickly grab the glass and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Ragini, iske pine se dard theek ho jayega...lijiye jaldi se pilijiye" He did not wait for any response and held the glass out to her. She took the glass in her left arm and drank 'Haldi-Dodh' with his support. His eyes thoughtfully examined her face and he was preplexed to find her trying so hard to hide her pain. She relaxed a bit as warm liquid made its way to her stomach; she rested her head on bed-board as soon as she finished the glass. Her eyes were heavy and prickling with exhaustion yet she felt relaxed. Not a long time passed, Guddi showed up again and she heard Anmol calling out her name. "Ragini, apna haath dijiye."

Her eyes responded instantly thus she saw him with a towel handerchief. " Ji?..Yeh kya hai..." She asked

"Tumhare wrist pe kharoch aur zakhm hai...lao mein saaf kardoon" She spread her hand unconsciuosly and very next moment a soft and warm towel touched her delicate wrist. One after another caressing towel's touch sent a warmth in her bruises. He carefully took the cracked bangles off her hand and put the oinment on her wrist. Her bruises experienced a tingling sensation as they came in contact of the ointment but his air-blow brush the feeling away. Next moment, Sea saw him standing near her feet and his hand held something...

"Ice se aap ki sprained ankle ko aaraam milega. Ragini" He explained it to her. She felt as some current ran through her body when her ankle sense the ice. She relaxed a little when her tense muscle responded to soothing coldness. After settling down, her gazes lifted to see Anmol, who has been examining her expression carefully. Her eyes were thankful to him for being there in time of need and read his eyes to find growing concern in them. A knock on door interupted their conversation through eyes and Anmol saw Guddi standing with Dr. Mishra. Doctor came and examined her; Her right arm and back was still hurting and pain did not seem to leave her. Dr. Mishra was writing a prescription for her after the check-up.

I know this is just the first part and not much is going on. I have next part in my mind I hope I get time to post it soon. So free feel to leave a comment 😊

Poonam, Anmol will faint phir viewrs ka kya hoga..yaar..It just shows she trust him deeply...haina!..Agar tum Behooosh ho jaogi To Bidaai ka kya hoga yaar...Just take some tranquiliser..I am sure you will be fine😆
