I think that Sadhna and Ragni are both responsible for the injustice on the current track in Bidaai. With the on going track and the two very different views on this forum.......I would like to say that Sadhna and Ragni are both responsible for any injustice on Bidaai. I would like to state some facts.....

1. Sadhna is guilty of not saying what she wanted to do and say in court clearly to Ragni before the hearing. Giving Ragni false hope that she will lie in court in Ranvir favor. I will not say whether Sadhna testimony was right or wrong, because of the very different and strong opinions on the forum. Our opinion on that issue is strongly based on what we believe in.
2. Ragni didn't understand Sadhna's confusion and concern in lieing. As well as Ragni knows her sister, she should have known Sadhna personality, "yes my sister can do anything for me, but it is not in her character to lie and hurt a innocent."
3. Ragni intial behavior was acceptable, because she felt betrayed by the one person she trusted the most. However, all events after that is clearly her own fault due to low self control and inner weakness.
4. Ragni is guilty also for kicking Sadhna out because did nothing to stop her. She instead insulted her more. And I say she is guilty with no doubt, because Ragni herself realized that what she had just did was wrong....and thus ran downstairs to stop her sister...but it was too late. If she didn't think she did anything wrong she wouldn't have ran downstairs.
5. Ragni is also guilty partially for the behavior that Alekh is showing Sadhna. Yes, Ragni did tell Alekh to go get his wife if he is longing for her so much, but she also said that she means nothing to her anymore, when asked if she also wanted her back home. That is reverse psychology. Go get her if you want but I don't want her to come back.
6. Ragni at the present time, is making judgements about Sadhna on the basis of what she hears and thinks, without knowing the facts. She ran over to Mamaji's home, to basically yell and insult Sadhna, because she thought that Sadhna is asking for more attention and wants Ragni to beg to her so that she will goes to see Ranvir. She finds out from her own mother that, it was not Sadhna that refused to go see Ranvir, but her own father. The guilt on her face was clearly evident.
Sadha's testimony may have started the mess, but Ragni has also added to the mess. So right now they are partners in crime for all that is going on. Whether one fault is more or less then the others...I will let you decide.

I think you have written this same post before also...but anyways, its a good analysis... You are right, Sadhna should have made it clear before only... but did Vasu, Ragini, Alekh give Sadhna a chance to say what she will do, they just gave their verdict to Sadhna.
Anyways, what I could understand, Sadhna was in a dilemma, it could be she was even preparing herself to lie for Ragini's sake, but when she touched Gita, her conscience overcame her love for Ragini and she could not lie...
I completely sympathesise with Ragini and her condition...but what I do not like is she is dragging the past into her present by saying certain bad things about Sadhna.. she is completely insulting her and Sadhna's childhood love, giving the name of jealousy....
Ragini is right as long as she is maintaining a tone of depression and upset, keeping it in the present situation. But the aggression and hatred in her tone and dragging their past relationship and thus questioning their relationship from childhood is where Ragini is going wrong....
if you remember Ranveer's words for Sadhna that "his umeed was Sadhna will speak the truth"...thats what is expected from Sadhna...

Looks to me that Ragini's faults outweighed Sadhana by large. # 1 in the list is allocated to Sadhana and # 2 thru 6

I partially agree with you. Why...yes her trust was broken....but was it such a big deal that would come between a relationship of 20 years? When there is a misunderstanding between loved ones, they discuss the matter and resolve the differences. They hear each other out, not just come to any conclusions or start believing what others are telling them...specially after your own conscience refuses to believe it. It was really not such a big deal like a wife catching her husband with another woman in a compromising position that she refuses to hear any explanation. This only proves the bond was never strong to withstand adverse conditions.

I agree with you. Both sadhna and ragini are to blame in some way.
Sadhna should have outrightly said to Ragini: "jiji I cannot say such a big lie" instead of beating around the bush and saying mamaji has told us not to lie, etc. and not to mention telling Ragini not to worry and that things would be ok. If she was confused, she should've told Ragini I don't feel comfortable with this. After she's an honest girl, who has issues with lying right, so she should've been honest from the very beginning.
Ragini should have looked past her grief and known that Sadhna cannot say such a big lie in court, with her hand on the Gita. After all, she has known Sadhna for 20 odd years.

Their both young and naive at times, and yes this has consequently brought them to where they are now, although external factors and bad influences have played a vital role in their lives. But I totally agree with the original poster. However, i'm affraid I have to add that while ragini's faults are outweighing sadhna's, her trauma is also outweighed.
