Written Update- 27th March 2009

Rajvansh House:

Vasu is on the phone talking to Prakashchand, the latter requests her to send Ragini and Sadhna over to attend the pooja which is being held for the well being of Vineet and Malti's baby who would be arriving soon. Vasu tells him that Ragini shall come over but Sadhna would not be able to make it as Aalekh is not doing too well (she is actually worried to send Aalekh out of the house as she fears that some disturbing incident might take place affecting him again). Nevertheless, Prakashchand asks her to inform the sisters about this and she says that she will.

Sharma House:

Kaushalya wants to talk to Ragini but Prakashchand (PC) hangs up before she can, informing her that Ragini would make it but Sadhna would not due to Aalekh's health issues. Kaushalya is happy that Ragini would be coming home and is not at all affected with the news of Sadhna not coming over. She asks Vineet to run to the sweet shop quickly and get some sweets for Ranvir-Ragini soon; she herself gets busy with the arrangements for the pooja. Kaushi, Nani are very happy and excited with the news of Malti's pregnancy, Malti offers to help them in the arrangements but she is sent away to take rest. Making the most of this opportunity, Malti happily skips all the work and rests in her room watching TV. Vineet kind of criticizes her for shirking work and asks her to go help his mom in the preparations but Malti tells him that his mom, Nani have asked her to rest as much as she can and stay off from doing any work.

Rajvansh House:

Ragini and Sadhna are so excited about their soon-to-be- Maternal Aunt status. Their excitement gets Aalekh and Ranvir curious and as the sisters break the news to them (along with the invitation to attend the pooja at Sharma house), Ranvir feels so happy for Vineet-Malti while Aalekh cannot understand what that means. Sadhna explains Aalekh that Vineet and Malti are expecting a child soon; still confused, he asks why the child is coming. Ranvir, Ragini and Sadhna find it a little difficult and embarrassing to answer Aalekh's question so Ranvir cleverly diverts the topic saying that they should all go to Sharma house now. Sadhna asks Ranvir Ragini to go ahead as she cannot risk taking Aalekh out but Ranvir insists that they should go along with them, he promises her that he will convince Vasu to let them go. He fulfils his promise as he does convince his mother to let Sadhna and Aalekh go to Sharma house along with him and Ragini reasoning that Aalekh enjoys a lot at their place and that would result in his happiness, which will be good for his health. He further adds that Ragini,Sadhna, PC and others are there to take care of him, so she can safely let him go. On his and choti maa's insistence, Vasu finally agrees.

Sharma House:

PC and family welcome the foursome and as usual Kaushi's expressions change on seeing Sadhna. Ranvir congratulates Vineet-Malti, Ragini and Sadhna also express their joy at the good news. When PC asks Aalekh if he will not congratulate Vineet-Malti, Aalekh asks him the same question he asked Sadhna,Ragini and Ranvir earlier, in front of everyone. He wants to know why this child is coming; his innocent query creates an awkward situation for all the members present there. PC does not know to respond to his question…… finally, he manages to come up with an answer which brings down Aalekh's confusion a bit. He provides Aalekh the instances of Vineet, Ranvir and Aalekh himself saying that the way they are the children of their respective parents, Vineet-Malti are also going to have their children, that is to say that people who get married usually have children. Aalekh seems convinced with his answer and points that it means Ranvir, Ragini will also have children, so in the same way, he and Sadhna also should have children. His statement baffles Sadhna and the rest; he further asks Sadhna if he is right or not. An innocuous Aalekh even goes on to ask Sadhna for a child and soon (in front of everybody); Ranvir tries to explain Aalekh that he is not supposed to talk like that in front of everyone. But Aalekh claims that he cannot understand why it is wrong for him to say that when it is not wrong to congratulate Vineet-Malti for the same reason, in front of everyone; Ranvir has no answer to his question. Mamaji tells Aalekh that he would be very happy if he and Sadhna have a child as he will become a maternal grandfather. Just then, the pundit asks everyone to come join the pooja , after the pooja is done with, Ranvir informs Kaushi that he would be leaving for the office after breakfast and pick up Ragini,Sadhna, Aalekh on his return. Vineet asks Ranvir to give him two minutes to get ready so that he can also leave for office with him. The sisters are in their room and Ragini expresses her sorrow to Sadhna. She is sad that her little sister is leading an incomplete life and feels guilty because Sadhna's misery in life is a result of the sacrifice she made for their family. Sadhna consoles her sister saying that she has no complaints from life and is ready to accept whatever her fate has to offer her for she loves Aalekh, irrespective of his mental condition. Ragini hugs her and says that she trusts her god to give Sadhna, her fair share of happiness and fulfillment in life…….

Precap: Aalekh is holding a small bottle with some liquid in it, he asks Mamaji about that great smelling liquid. Mamaji tells him that it is rose water……
