i couldn't have agreed more chronic with everything you said. really, angad has made alekh so endearing, that you can't help but love him. and yes, i agree, even though both old-sagar and alekh are/were mentally challenged, they're completely different characters. sagar was much more helpless than alekh, and could easily have been manipulated, while its the total opposite with alekh. unlike alekh, sagar wasn't able to speak his mind, understand it, or stand up for what he belived in. he was quite fearful of sindoora too, where in alekh's case he is the only person in his house to have any courage to stand up to vashundhara (who like sindoora, is the most feared one in the house, but of course, not nearly as evil). alekh, i feel, also can't be easily manipulated, he has the ability to think for himself and decide what's right or wrong, something which sagar seriously lacked initially. sagar was also much more childlike than alekh. so yeah, those are some of the major differences they had/have. though they were both different, the actors who played them, both played them very well. but if i had to choose one, i'd say angad has done a better job, because his appears to be more realistic. also, his is more endearing as well đ

^^ yeah i know.. i dont want Alekhji to forget or anything as soon as he gets better, which is the norm for many of the soaps!
i want him to remember.. and gradually get better (with the help of sadhna)nothing in amatter of 3 hours during an operation or anything.. cus it'd SUCK if he forgot who sadhna was.. and started to side with vasu!
