Wasent it subhod's fault ??

Well truly said,Wasnet it subhod and his father's fault that maya died.I mean they knew how much they loved each other.I mean if they arrange a marriage for her with a man she doesent love,what can a girl do then.Isent it obvious she will kill herself or either run away from school.But its realloy sad maya died.I know know but i think they both have equal fault.Rahul came late and Subhod and his father arranged the marriage.So its fifty fifty now :)

I think everyone involved in the story, Shubot, Maya, RM and his father are to blame for the death.
Shubot and his father as they knew that RM and Maya loved each other (if they hadn't interfered then RM wouldn't now be in the middle of S/G romance)
Maya because she should have faith in her love. Committing suicide is the cowards way out and showed that she didn't believe in RM or her love. She could have left home and gone in search of RM and not taken the route she did.
RM because he should have contacted Maya during the time he was away and told someone about where he was working etc.
Circumstances and time were to blame too.
The blame shouldn't be cast solely on RM alone. Everyone has to share some of the blame.
Shubot should have listened to RM explanation when he tried to explain. ( anger and bitterness understandable since he had just lost his sister but afterwards he should have took the time to speak to him instead of hurling accusations. RM was his best friend and he should know that RM isn't a person to do what he accused him of - not being able to think rationally was due to the grief of losing his beloved sister.)
Arranging Maya's marriage to someone else was the wrong move by her father. Should have never put conditions etc on the marriage taking place.
Anyway those are my thoughts on the situation.

Yeah, it was everyone's fault really. I don't think it was Suhbodh's fault though. He couldn't do anything when RM was away. . . he could've been anywhere and he stood up for them as much as he coul.d he was about to tell hiss father that 70 000 rupees was unachieveable but Rm butted in!
