hey troupe, A big hug to all the sailors on board including a very our own captain sana 😉 The current bv track reminds me of that monkey trying to climb an oiled bamboo stick . i.e progressing by one step and regressing by three steps the very next. Pww is back with her revengeful tactics with two new assistants . Now this trio will go in all guns blazing left , right and centre . Even though the fast romantic cd between dipper vinay and my hercules bindiya is not exactly my cup of tea, but it's good to see some sort of simple adorable moments between these two which iam sure with time sparks a connection and thus improving their comnfort level but like everyone else i still have a glint of hope from this mind numbing track

@kutcher: I have to agree with you- it is unsettling on some level to see Vinay-Bindiya's story(?) progressing at what seems like a very fast pace but at the same time, their scenes and moments are very sweet that I can't help but like them lol.

Coming to today's episode, I really liked the scene- I love the concern Vinay shows towards Bindiya(may be this general growing concern and softening up will eventually result in Vinay falling in love with Bindiya? Yeah yeah yeah, I still don't feel, actually I still hope that Vinay is NOT in love with Bindiya yet). I think our "chick magnet" meets Sunny Deol incarnation managed to get his smile and his dimples under control and so his overflowing smiles didn't make me go 😕, 🤔 which is good but then something has to bother me right?! And so, his PINK shirt took it upon itself to do the honors and his dhai kilo ke muskals almost tearing out of his half sleeve shirts were disturbing to watch , I thought "chick magnet" will have a blood clot or something 😲,somehow his barbie doll shirt reminded me of V's glorious past with his Randhir *sigh* . Anyways, coming back to the good things, what I really adored about today's scene was Bindiya's mildly reciprocating gesture, I loved the bit where she shakes her head knowingly, smiles and gives half of the prashaad to Vinay after correctly guessing that he hasn't eaten the prashad , awwww- Vinay beta, your patni is even BETTER than you when it comes to being considerate and sweet - the sharing bit was sweet :). However, (it is not a good conjunction to read , I know, but I can't help it), I found Vinay turning around and staring at the wall( or is it the dressing table or the bed?) in his room after he gave the prashad to Bindiya which she took and walked towards the door, quite weird, it was as if Vinay was waiting for Bindiya to come back and share the prashad with him because he knew beforehand that it would happen as the director had already informed him about it 😕. I think these kind of things should be taken care of and minimized, else they affect the overall viewing quality of the scene and lessen its appeal.

I think I liked VK when he had dhedh kilo ke muskals only, dhai kilo ke muskals don't suit him- I keep thinking that any moment he is going to say "yeh dhai kilo ka haath jab kisi aadmi pe padta hai toh aadmi uththa nahin, uth jaata hai" in Sunny Deol style and crack me up .

Kavya , very brilliantly described about the dipper vinay A.K.A chick magnet and his barbie doll colour shirts.His so called muscles are clone version of sunny deol's muscles. If this dipper (no offence vishal but with this sort of dress sense u do give that dipper look, get some tips from a sensible designer) and what ever time is left at disposal concentrate on the acting skills otherwise Bindiya is stealing all limelight with excellent acting skills , with her intelligence i hope she figure out how to make him know that she is well aware of his forgotten facade and give some space to their potential loveable relationship i.e to let it grow with a subtle flow .😉

Ohh the 'look'.....They have so many moments where they just look at each other, but his gazes are always filled with emotion and meaning....not blank stares.....And I adoooore Brennan....she's one character who can ruffle your feathers with her bluntness, but catch you by surprise with moments of, perhaps, subconscious, sweetness as well.....It's quite incredible how endearing she is capable of being and one can't help but feel for her character.....Very well put, I completely agree and WORD on "the look" , it is just something so inexplicable and yet so charming, endearing and magical 😍

I actually think some Indian shows are capable of producing something interesting....The YRF shows, for example, are definitely a refreshing change from the otherwise never-ending soap opera format of the weeping heroine, the more than necessary heavily made up villain, melodrama of the lowest level and list goes on.......That is one of the reasons why I like the YRF shows actually but the problem with YRF shows is their over simplification of everything and kind of rosy presentation of things, sure I love how the foursome in R.com learn something about simple yet important things about life every day but the practical aspects like how come Isha and Rohan own a successful company at such a young age (I mean she is supposed to be 27 and he is supposed to be 29 which is technically young in a business career POV) etc don't settle with me, even with Mahi Way I always wonder how Mahi landed up a job at Trend magazine in the first place, let us keep aside the fact that she lost her job now but as long as she was there, I kept thinking how Mahi got a job in that magazine - the leads in YRF shows seem to have it very easy when it comes to things like having stylish, "cool" careers and lavish life styles....not that I want them to show the characters struggling to find a job, being depressed and starving etc., I mean I don't want to see things that extreme either but a balance and accountability with a realistic touch is always welcome

The desi creators just need to understand the concept of subtlety and the fact that it actually works.....Also the TRP system needs to be devalued, but that will probably never happen as the ratings system is a vital source for the Channels and advert sponsors to promote their product, no matter how flawed the system is....Touche! Obviously there must be some measuring standard but I wish they'd revise and prune this TRP system so as to ensure quality to the viewers while conducting their business.

@Kavya: I saw only the last part today with Vindiya and I totally agree about him just standing there randomly staring at the wall while he waits for her to come back and ask if he'd eaten the prasad....That was very weird to watch....I think they should either take Vishal out of the frame in such situations or make him DO something, anything but just something that doesn't make the scene look awkward.....But I liked when she came back knowing that he hadn't eaten it and then asking him to him to do pranam before he eats - she smiled a bit as she left the room! Aww, she looks so sweet when she smiles like that....

And god, the shirts are getting worse with each epi! Uggh, seriously off-putting! But Vishal, in terms of acting, was strictly ok today....He didn't go crazy on the smile today, but he was still smiling a lot more than needed....Hope this gets amended with time....

I saw the Girl in the Goop epi yesterday and was on a Bones high....The last scene was fabulous.....She smiled at him briefly and he looked at her with the corner of his eye....Such a small, yet adorable moment!

Good point about the YRF shows! Y'know I've been wanting to know about Rohan and Isha's history for quite some time now....How they met, how they came together to start a business when they were supposedly at loggerheads in their College days...and also, like you said, how they even managed to start a business such as this when they're so young.....Such back-story helps to further develop the characters and the dynamic b/w them.....I've often wondered why they accompany the clients to their dates, I mean I know they don't sit with them, but it's like they're chaperoning and it just seems weird....Their clients can tell them how their date went with the ppl they were set up with through email or the phone, is it necessary to tag along with them? Little things like that do need to be looked into, but the show overall is decent....I've only seen the first epi of Mahi Way, I assumed they would've dropped a line in the later epis about how she wound up in Trend in the first place, but I guess not.....

Yes, the TRP system just needs to improved to the point of where more ppl are taken into account when measuring what they watch, aside from the small sample that usually gets recognized.....Not everyone in India watches the saas-bahu soaps.....In fact it's because of this system only that the future of R.com has been jeopardized and that show is deffo better than a lot of other shows out there...

@ Kavya - Oh Yeah Kavya. I absolutely love the game. I am glad you said it is cool, I have had people tell me about how boring it looks. You should continue playing, bring that thrill back to your life.

I read your wonderful reasoning around Vinay's change. I agree with you word by word and I am hoping that our reasoning is right. But my big problem with this whole thing is we have to guess all this. I am not happy with how the CV's handled it. This is a major milestone in the story. We had Vinay continuously repeat day in and day out that he will not accept Bindiya as his wife and FINALLY after 1 year of marriage and 9-10 months of serial life Vinay is accepting Bindiya as his wife. So why was this handled in a hurry. He sat there for 5 minutes thinking about some stuff and started to see Bindiya differently - goes to Dabba, get drunk comes back with a change of heart ? is that how such a big change will happen. Wouldn't such a big decision cause a person to ponder over things more, think more about past. I don't think they convinced us or made us to feel that change around Vinay. At the very least they could have used the "Parivarthan" conversation to elaborate a bit more so the viewers get a chance to understand Vinay.

They were so much in a haste to bring PPW back, spend almost an episode on vimpoo remarriage fun gala(borring) and another episode on kala bendar spotting(as Upasana so humorously painted it) but are not willing to spend time on the details of Vindiya relationship. Maybe they think as long as they give some romantic scenes people will be happy. This beats me and is very disappointing. So PPW is brought back in a big hurry and now after reading today's update it looks like the revenge track is already starting. Where are we going with this? Sounds like in today's episode they went to great pain to explain PPW feelings. Does any one care? We are not watching this serial to understand PPW's feelings we are interested in Vinay and Bindia. Are all Soaps like this ? going in circles on less important things, if so I am so glad I never watched one and am pretty sure I am soon going to feel sorry that I ever got interested in this one either.

@Sana - After reading today's update I am not feeling interested to watch BVD today. Thanks for letting me know about the Vindiya scene, maybe I will fast forward and just watch that.

@Sheena: That is the main issue with this show....that we have to guess everything that goes on....It points to the clueless-ness of the creators when the audience have to make their own interpretation of the events they're being shown.....Really lazy, poor writing....

And to make matters worse it seems that now, since PPW is back to her original self (not that she ever left, but I digress), we may be back to seeing Vindiya being neglected, or worse, back to square one....you'd think seeing him yell at her again like he used would be unlikely now that he's all smiles and rainbows with her, but this is BVD, so anything is possible.....

EDIT: Oh and to answer your question, yes, more or less, all daily soaps are like this only....but BVD is extra special when it comes to sidelining the leads in favour of the vamp and the supporting characters....

I skipped most of the show and only watched from the Sinha Pariwar scene today, basically only the peda part. The Vindiya scene was very cute indeed. Everything was good except for the color of Vinay's shirt. Did they want them in matching colors or something. I loved Bindiya's smile.

I am glad Poonam did not see Vinay offering Bindiya the peda. Otherwise she would have thrown a tantrum on how Vinay can offer a peda to Bindiya without giving her first.

@Shumi @Kavya – About Vinay facing the wall waiting for Bindiya to turn around and talk. I have noticed this once before too. In the episode where Vinay brings food for Bindiya and she goes away to put in the fridge, he did the exact same thing. Vinay just stood there waiting for Bindiya to turn back, looks very weird.

OMG Sana – that's one of my favorite songs. I play it pretty much every day in my car but I never ever thought BVD when I listen to it. Even when I started the VM I am like why is Sana killing this song and then I got absolutely stunned at how well it suited. I don't think I can ever listen to that song without thinking Vindiya again. How did you think to connect the two together? Brilliant!

I never really liked the original Hoobastank Video album for this song. I mean the video was funny bit it did not suit the song. So I was missing a good visual piece for this song. You gave me the best visual. Thanks girl.

I even caught some of Vinay's expressions better, a painful guilty regret look when he was looking at Bindiya, I didnt catch it when I watched BVD but I caught it in this mix. I am beyond words right now.

I see you have posted more VM's so let me go watch those and see what this genius is upto now. I am telling you girl, go start your own show I will be your #1 fan.

U know, I killed the ending with the last scene because I should have edited it properly but to tell ya the truth, when I actually thought about using the song for Vindiya, I was apprehensive myself because I didn't know if it would work properly or not. Then I uploaded it on YT and of course, I had to remove it because it got blocked due to the audio content. So I was like.. Maybe its not meant to be.. But then I uploaded it on my DM account. I am soooooooooooo happy that u checked it out and that u liked it! I never knew that this was your favorite song but gosh! lol @ staring my own show: Trust me Sheena. Since this is your first Indian daily soap, that's why u are saying all this. But if u were to see even 2 or 3 more, u'll see that most of them go along a same pathway in terms of romance, emotional dramas, etc etc.. But its the execution and cast of the show that makes it worth watching. All of my ideas are literally borrowed from daily soaps. How am I ever to make it big without having new and innovative ideas of my own? So I guess its better left to the people who can actually dream and think *hehehe* But thanxx again hun for making my day.. I was not having a good one today but your kind words cheered me like anything. Now I've got Vinay's 1000 watt smile.. I swear 😃😃 ~
