Paridi gets Sahir to sit on one side of the scales and balances his weight against all her riches, bonds, jewellery etc. Sona happily sees the reaches and is pleased that her mil is rich.
Dharam looks for Meera, finds her and scolds her for calling the abused DILs committee to harass Gaura. Meera tells him that Gaura started it first by calling the abused mil women and states that if Gaura harasses her, she will retaliate.
Paridi asks Sona to take all the finery. Sona greedily picks all up praising Paridi. Kokila shouts that Paridi is not doing right. Pari says that by waging her wealthshe proved that she loves her children and asks Sona to bring what she has. Sona looks shocked. Gopi stands against Paridi and they have words.
Dharam apologises to Meera and gifts her a sari. Meera tells him that the sari wasn't needed but she is pleased he thought of her.
Sona gets upset and shouts at Sahir and bad mouthings Paridi. Kokila asks her not to be rude to her mil and says that Gopi will teach her what to do. Gopi narrates a religious story which holds similar to what Paridi had carried out with Sahir and the scale. She promises to help Sona win Paridi round.
Pre cap. Sona tells Paridi that she does not have wealth but she has something much better. She asks Sahir to sit on the scale.
