Another flashback shows Paridhi, with her father Jai present screaming furiously at the denizens of Modi Bhavan. Paridhi says angrily, "Ever since I came to Modi Bhavan, I have been constantly lectured, blamed and ACCUSED FOR EVERYTHING. I shouldered all the responsibilities of a good vahu and no one even appreciated me! When I wanted to have a child with Jigar, Koki Aunty stopped us and then Ahem had the nerve to interfere by sending Jigar away to America. I had left here to look after my father and when Sahir got married to Sona, NO ONE OF YOU EVEN BOTHERED TO INFORM ME! And not even one month back, I returned to this house and when I and Jigar were to resume with conceiving a child, AGAIN KOKI AUNTY STEPPED IN AND STOPPED IT! And recently, Gaura misbehaved with Rashi Jr and I got blamed for it! And when I tried to prove my innocence and expose Gaura as the culprit, everyone, including Jigar who I tried so hard to win over, who I loved with all my heart and Gopi-ben, who I looked up to, who guided me in the right path! Earlier, I hated the idea of staying in an extended family for obvious reasons, but after listening for many days to Gopi-ben and finally getting accepted, I thought that maybe staying in an extended family isn't so bad after all! I guess I was wrong! No one appreciates me in this house or the favors I did for them. I sacrificed my happiness, my dreams of someday living alone with Jigar and no one, not even Jigar himself appreciates it. So lovingly, I called him Jiggs! Everyday, Jiggs was on my lips and Jiggs did not truly acknowledge it!"
Paridhi then turns to Kokila and says, "And you just rule everyone in a high handed way, you interfere in others matters! You have this penchant for interfering in other peoples lives! And because of your good friend, Gaura, you accused me of harming Rashi and when Rashi tried to speak up, you silenced her! I never harmed Rashi! GAURA DID!" Kokila shouts in her loud, booming voice, "PARIDHI!", and is about to slap Paridhi when Jai comes in the middle and holding and throwing away Kokila's arm says angrily, "If you even TRY to slap my daughter, I will forget you are a woman and I will break both your arms!" Kokila gets shocked by Jai's boldness but says nothing to him. Paridhi, now almost crying says, "This is what Koki Aunty does, Papa! When I or anyone speaks against or contradicts her, she either raises her hand on them, shouts at them or she severs ties with them! When she realizes she made a mistake, usually wrongly accusing someone, she apologizes for it and a few days after, she does the same thing again!" Kokila again tries to slap Paridhi when Paridhi quickly stops Kokila's hand and gives her a tight, resounding slap! All denizens of Modi Bhavan, including Kokila get shocked at what just transpired. Kokila screams angrily at Paridhi, "HOW DARE YOU SLAP ME?!" Paridhi, not even remotely fazed by Kokila says, "When you raise your hand against others, it is no big deal! But, when someone does the same to you, it hurts! You are the fine example of a HYPOCRITE!"
Gopi then speaks up and tries to stop Paridhi from carrying on. She says, "Enough, Paridhi! Why are you making an issue out of this?! I admit we all wrongly blamed you and we are sorry! Please cam down!" Paridhi says angrily, "No, Gopi-ben! For well over 10 years, I silently tolerated everyone's nonsense and now I am going to speak! I refuse to be that kind of vahu who silently tolerates other people's abuse. I HAVE HAD IT! Now, I will do what I should have done long back! I will sever all ties with this family!" Everyone is stunned hearing Paridhi's words! Jigar tries to reason with Paridhi by saying, "Pari! Please listen to us! Please do not leave! I love you, Pari and am sorry I did not support you when Gaura blamed you for misbehaving with Rashi. Please forgive me!" Jigar tries to hug Paridhi when Paridhi pushes Jigar back and gives him a tight slap! Paridhi then points at Jigar and says angrily, "Don't you dare touch me! You do not have that right! You lost that right when you did not support me against your family! I am giving you a divorce!" Hearing this, Jigar get's tears in his eyes." The flashback ends and next a final flashback shows Paridhi coming with divorce papers and getting divorced from Jigar after which she leaves Modi Bhavan for good!
