Episode starts with Gaura talking of Meera to Dharam stating that she is a fool just like her dad Ahem is and says that she will be the trump card that they will use against the Modi family. especially Kokila and she smirks.
Meanwhile, Durga is seen to be entering Vidhya's room where she is crying and applies the Sandalwood on her face. Durga tells her that she did not receive the opportunity to do the ceremony and Vidhya gets emotional on that part. From afar, Sharvan notices it all and also thanks his mother for looking after Vidhya. He also tells her that he should have been aware of their plans but he was not. She looks on..
Moving on, Gopi and Ahem along with Sona and Madhu are in the roadside. Gopi is insiting Madhu (Her mother) to come and stay with them but Madhu is hesitant and says that she will not go anywhere, especially not in Modi house. Sona, (Gopi's sister apparently) says that she Madhu will not go there either. Gopi says why is she being so adamant or hesitant to come over? Madhu says that the reason behind her not wanting to come is due to Kokila. Ahem along with Gopi is taken back by her answer.
Moving on, Gaura notices Meera fast asleep near the idol of Devi Maa and also sees Vidhya adding gee to the lamp..In an anger she (Gaura) wakes Meera up..Meera fumes seeing Vidhya adding gee to the lamp. To add fuel to the fire, Gaura taunts Meera saying that she has lost even her blessing today as Vidhya came in and "took them" away. Vidhya comes in and says that she came in as she saw that the lamp was about to go off so came to add more ghee to it. Meera screams at Vidhya and tells that she should have woken her up. Gaura just then announces that tomorrow morning's Aaarti will be performed by Meera herself while Vidhya will conduct the evening one.
Next Morning: Meera gets up with full energy getting ready to start the day but as she gets out of her room, she slips in the cow dung (planted by Gaura). Vidhya rushes to pick her but Gaura stops her on track stating that Meera is dirty and will have to come back after a shower/a bath. Gaura says that they cannot let the auspicious moment pass though and says that Vidhya will do the aarti instead. This annoys meera but does not say anything and goes to take her bath
Vidhya gets hold of the Aarti but asks Durga to perform the Pooja which she happily does. Sharavan gets happy seeing that. Just then Meera walks in and Gaura taunts her saying that she should have been the one doing the aarti and says that it must have been her who kept the cow dung near her door. Meera gives an angry glare towards Vidhya. As the Aarti comes to an end, Guara screams at Vidhya saying that she is trying to challenge a "fuming crocodile". Vidhya just says that she did what was right as Durga is the badi badhu of the family.
Precap: Gopi takes Madhuben Sona to Modi bhavan and says Kokila that she brought her mom and she will stay with them now. Kokila says she cannot stay here.
