The episode opens with Meera begging Gopi to do anything to stop the wedding. She proclaims to love Vidya a lot and does not want her life ruined. She leaves Gopi to her thoughts.
Gopi considers Meera's words and decides to look further into events starting with Rashi.
Rashi is in her room and when questioned by Gopi explains that she had gone into Gaura's room and Gaura had come up behind her and that is why she was scared. Gopi is pensive for a moment but then recovers. She leaves Rashi.
Gaura comes to Rashi and they have a chat.
Meera declares that she will do what it takes, even calling Gopi 'mom' in order to stop the wedding.
Gaura comes to her room, opens the trunk and speaks about her son. Almost as if she is invoking the spirits.
Men are seen wrestling of some sort with the camera focusing on one man, Gaura's son, who's face we do not see.
Meera comes down in the morning, seeing no one around except for Meethi asks where the family are. Meethi tells her that they are in the prayer hall as it is raksha bandhan. Meera says another festival and goes to the temple. The family are gathered there for raksha bandhan and Rashi's (the original) barsi. Kokila consoles Urmila. Jig are gets ready to go to the orphanage and the family compel Paridi to go also.
Kokila ask Gaura about her brother and is told that he is not coming as he is busy. Kokila asks where he is and Gaura says he is in jamnagar. She tells Gaura to call him to have the rakhee tied. Gaura says no and stops any further talk. Kokila hands Gaura a rakhee but Gaura declines saying that every year she puts a gold rakhee on her brother. Gaura sends shravan and Vidya to go and buy a ring.
Meera is not impressed and neither is Gopi.
Vidya speaks to Gopi saying that she did not like they way that Gaura behaved. Gopi tries to imply that the two should let nothing come between them. She remembers Rashi fondly.
Vidya and shravan go for shopping.
Pre cap. Urmila is confiding in Gopi about Gaura, that something is fishy. She states how she always seems to be on the top and also talks a lot to the trunk.
