I'm sure he knew what Meera was up to in Mumbai but never had the balls to confront her.

Nothing wrong in what you have said at all! 100% true...parents need to know where to draw the line and be authoritative..this dumb woman keeps on making excuses for the daughters bad behaviour...and for that matter..she even made excuses for ahem for his b****fits pre-reunion...maybe she shld be sent to a military bootcamp..to learn how the real world works... 😡

it pains me to say this, especially as this serial was one of the first that I signed on to IF for, I hated, literally hated today's episode. One the one hand Meera's rudeness knows no bounds and it truly grates on me so much that I am beginning to hate watching on the other we have a father who stands silently while his daughter is rude to him, his wife and to the elders of the family. It was left to Vidya to protect Gopi when Meera raised her hand to Gopi. He was nowhere near to stop her or rebuke Meera for what she did and he allowed her to continue to be rude to Gopi. And Gopi, the stupid tart! 😡 All she can say is that Meera is a child and should be forgiven. Lady, once your child becomes taller than you they do have some sense. Yes they need guidance but Meera needs something stronger. By excusing her acts of rudeness Gopi is giving her license to continue as she is. Meera is not a child but a young adult who has been spoilt by her father's impotence to impart any discipline save to glare at her and a family friend who covered up all of Meera's antics.

And we come to what is grating me more. Through all of Meera's taunts, rudeness and accusations, not once has Ahem confronted Meera and told her the real reason for her separation from the family. When she was a toddler and the circumstances then and then ten years previously when he separated the girls from their extended family due to his anger and ego. Why isn't he sitting her down calmly and explaining to her? Has he still got that hang up of not wanting Meera's anger towards Gopi to turn into love.

This storyline is tedious

Agree with you Xarina. The CV's want to drag before Ahem tells the truth to Meera. Ahem confessed to Gopi that he could not discipline Meera like she could.

When Meera came home late night from the party, she was in a drunken state. He was waiting for her. He saw her with her boyfriend in the car but did not do anything about her. Instead he beat up the guy whereas even Meera was equally responsible for that.

He should have monitored & controlled her at that time telling Mansi not to interfere between him & his daughter.

He separated the girls from the family. That is the mistake he made.

Now, whenever Ahem goes to slap Meera, stupid Gopi stops him from doing that. So even Gopi is responsible for that.

I just watched Saturday's episode... Very disappointed the way Ahem just stood and watched his daughter taunt and accuse her mother... NO where in the world this happens, honestly, who in their sense talk like that to their own mother, no matter how bad she is...

Heard that Gopi is on mission of rashi jr and jigar reunion. If that is true then first she should fix her own family before poking her nose in others personal matter.

I can see another radha in meera.

Radha never believed umang and tripti were cheaters even after confession and continued with her revenge with gopi and same case is with Meera.

@bold: As long as Kokila is there to sort out her problems, why the hell she will even bother. Paridhi is also helping Gopi because she has got help from Gopi.

Meera won't believe anybody except her dad. So he should tell her about Radha what she did to her when she was a kid.

Meera has been a brat in this leap. Only now this track has become prominent. It will take another 5 to 6 months for this track to end.

I have a prediction as to how Meera will reunite with gopi..meera will get into an accident or something..and gopi will selflessly take care of her..seeing gopis dedication,meera will repent 🤪 and there will be loads of tears shed..cvs favourite way to go...probably will be the same way to bring kinjal to her senses as well, though in her case will be either Dhaval or Pappu...exciting eh..
