The episode opens with the family in the hospital and Gopi is fretting about Rashi. She talks about going to search for her but Jigar and Dhawal stop her and tell her that she is needed in the hospital.
On the road Rashi is lost, unable to find the hospital. Dhawal , Tolu and Molu is looking for her. In the hospital Gopi still wants to find her. Jigar rings Dhawal. At the same time Rashi arrives, surprising everyone.
Urmila is with Dhawal. She thinks to herself that it's good that Rashi is found. Now she needs to go and see what has happened to Kokila
Rashi explains how she got the information. Dhawal arrives and scolds Rashi. She replies that she had to as no one is telling her where Kokila is. Urmila asks that same. Meera scolds Rashi for shouting and tells her that Kokila has had a heart attack. Hetal tries to stop her but Meera wants to continue. She tells Rashi that Kokila is in ICU. Rashi if further upset and asks Gopi if Kokila is going to go to Kanaji
Kokila is on the bed. The doctors are attending to her. Rashi is upset at Kokila's condition. She is upset at being left alone. Gopi consoles her and reassures her that all will be well. She says that God has given them strength and they will see this through. Urmila says to herself that nothing should happen to Kokila. Kinjal says that Kokila will be fine, whereupon Urmila walks up to her and slaps her across the face. Urmila then scolds her, that she is the cause of Kokila's situation and says that she never learns, that despite being her daughter, she has given Kokila nothing but pain. Futhermore, she says that after all these years of marriage she has not calmed and nor will she change. Hetal happily rejoices that Urmila is better and that her memory has returned. Urmila manages the situation and acts loopy again. Ahem remembers Kinjal's words and her antics. Urmila grabs a vase and tries to hit Kinjal with it. Ahem stops her. Kinjal is thankful and sucks up to Ahem but he stops her saying that Urmila's mind is not right but what she said is not wrong and whatever she has said she has said it unknowing but Kinjal knew full well what she was doing. Kinjal admits her mistake and says she had no option. Gopi steps in and scolds Kinjal, telling that if Kokila did something wrong she did it to bring her son back and asks why Kinjal didn't bring out the truth in a different way. She says that she feels sorry for Kokila, that she has a daughter, who has left her in her old age to live the life of a maid and a son for whom Kokila is so unwell.
The doctor emerges and is asked about Kokila's condition. He says that she is critical and that they cannot decide if they should operate. They don't know what to do. Rashi pleads with the doctor to say that Kokila is fine. Ahem is stunned and says that she cannot leave him. He walks away. Rashi continues with her pleas to Gopi. Gopi, although helpless consoles her. Hetal tries to life her spirits too.
Ahem is walking along the corridors and gets flashbacks, good and bad. He remembers his childhood. Kokila looks soo different here. Somewhat softer. Ahem is haunted by the events of the past couple of hours. Flashbacks again. He cries, punches the wall and then sinks to the floor in tears.
Gopi arrives and asks why is he crying now? He gets up and takes the blame for what has happened. Gopi chides him that now he says its his fault. Now that Kokila is on the verge of death. He cries and asks to be forgiven even to the point of taking Gopi's hand and slapping his face. He asks her to save his mom. Gopi asks if he wants to save his mom or Mrs Modi. He tells her to taunt as much as she likes. He sees the idols, takes her by the hand and stands in front of them and pleads with her to ask them, that they listen to whatever she says.
Pre cap: The doctor says that Kokila's survival is impossible. Ahem and Gopi are in the room with Kokila. Ahem is by the bedside, pleading with Kokila to open her eyes. The heart monitor flat lines. Gopi sees this and shouts for Kokila, with Ahem crying and telling her that she can't leave him.
