Saath Nibhaana Saathiya: A low down on everything that's changed post the leap

The popular Star Plus show which is now number one on the TRP race just took a big leap - things have drastically changed now and we recount what's different

While there are a lot of things different about Saath Nibhana Saathiya, the only thing that hasn't changed is people's ages in the show. Moving on... Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) is back after ten years and is shocked to see how things have changed in her absence.

Baby Raashi

Gopi rescued baby Raashi from Radha and killed her. Paridhi (Loveleen Sasan) was supposed to take care of Jigar (Vishal Singh) and Radha's daughter, but when Gopi comes back she finds out that Paridhi no longer wants Raashi. The little kid is told that Gopi is her real mother.

Kokila deglamourised

The eldest bahu Kokila Modi (Rupal Patel) is living in the chawl with Urmila (Vandana Vithlani) and doing all her chores and paying heed to all her unreasonable demands. It seems Urmila has lost her memory; Jigar and Kokila are taking care of her. Kokila is completely deglamourised - no loud makeup, no heavy jewellery or jhagmag sarees.

Gopi's kids

Vidya (Sonam Lamba) and Meera (Tanya Sharma) have completely changed. For some reason they no longer love their mother. Meera who was an ideal child with no vices now is an alcoholic, snobbish and arrogant. Vidya still has a few traits of her mother. She behaves like the elder sibling between the two. They are still a little terrified of Daddy dearest - Ahem (Mohammad Nazim).

Where is Ahem?

Now this is the drastic change; it seems that Ahem no longer lives at the Modi bhavan. He has moved out, hates his own mother Kokila - the reason is not yet known. But from what we figure, he blames the loss of Gopi on his own mother for putting so much pressure on her. He maybe a little irritated with Gopi for trying to put everyone else's life above her own. It seems Ahem is now dating someone else, who works with him, is modern and loves him to bits. This role is played by Kajal Pisal.

If nothing really works, then they will show the new lady as negative and Ahme will then realize his folly.

i agree his anger is justified but i would like Ahem to file for divorce, i would love to see where Gopi will live at modi bhawan or chawl or with Ahem. A few home truths need to told to Gopi when she came out of jail she was quick to judge Meera and vidya though she did not know them, and parents. So who will she blame
