Gopi, Meera & Vidya after 10 year leap - SBS - 19/02/15

They show Gopi's new look after 10 years. She is wearing a simple light yellow sari, minimal makeup, sindoor, mangalsutra and her hair is tied up in a plait with some flicks of her to the front on each side. Devoleena says, 'We are taking a 10 year leap, which I am confirming now. Simple, innocent Gopi is the same after 10 years, but her andaaz has changed a little. There was full chance of Gopi leaving, but now they have convinced her for the leap. After leaving jail for killing Radha, this is the look she has taken up. Devoleena says, 'I'm a bit nervous for leap. I'm sure anybody else would feel the same. They are some people that I cannot refuse, so I get convinced by their words. I'm back again, I've been convinced for the leap. The plait is the new thing. I've only once had a plait. But this is the jail-wala and permanent look now. Now over to her daughters: one is spoilt and the other simple and innocent. Try and recognise who is Meera and who is Vidya. One girl is wearing a blue dress and two policewomen are trying to take her away. The other girl is holding her hands in front of the police. Rebel in blue dress takes her hand away from the policewoman says, 'Meera Modi name hai mera!' 😲 Naughty, a little spoilt and doesn't agree to anybody's word, who is she? No, she is not Vidya. She is Meera, the one who used to be simple and innocent like Gopi. But now she has become spoilt and always ends up in the police station. (Upholding the family tradition is see. 😆) Blue dress girl says, 'I'm Vidya, she's Meera.' Other girl says, 'Hello? No, that's wrong.' Blue dress girl says, 'I'me Meera.' Other girl says, 'I'm Vidya Modi.' Meera says, 'You'll have to see the show. But it's a good thing for the viewers to bring a bit of change, it's better. The same, same thing will become boring. A little change is good.' Vidya is exactly like her mother. She is seedhi-saadhi, covers up her sister's every mistake. (Goshi Part 2 then 🤔). Vidya tries to stop the policewomen from taking Meera away. Devoleena says, 'Meera must be exactly like me. Vidya on the other hand is very smart. I'm sure Vidya is smart and intelligent. And Meera is like me, smart, intelligent, peaceful, nice and innocent.' Then they show some scenes of Devoleena shooting flashback scenes in the swimming pool for the river sequence.

Tell me, what do you think about the personality swap between Meera and Vidya?

Tbh, I was a bit disappointed. I think viewers were really looking forward to seeing Vidya's character post-leap as she brought a spark to the show after the last leap. Their relationship looks a lot like Goshi, but I hope Vidya doesn't end up turning into another Gopi. 😒

I am really disappointed actually , first thing I don't know why will gopi go to jail, when Radha was attacking her brutally , she is outright Psycho and almost killing a baby , it was really easy to get a good lawyer for Gopi and they could win the case in Gopi's favor ...Now what will happen, Gopi could not look after her kids, couldn't grow them as a mother ..and kids will have a strange feeling towards their mother ,maybe that can be little hatred also...insane 😕

Now Meera and Vidya , yaa it's strange that somebody's basic nature has changed that much ..Meera was quite old while leap happened ,she was not really that small that suddenly she will become this brat from that naive girl...I had a lot of hopes on Vidya too ,and honestly I wanted Devo to play that , but I understand while Nazim plays the father that can't happen ..😆 And yes you are right they are on the way to make Goshi Part two... before I thought meera will be like Gopi but now I see its Vidya ..

I am not looking very hopefully for this leap. , disappointed 😔

I dont like the idea of Meera changing s much from what she was...Maana ki she went abroad and studied blah blah.. but are they really going to the US ? 😆

First when I saw I thought that girl is Vidya who is badmaash...😆.. but no.. they have to fool us..
