Whoa! A leap in Saathiya?! I read somewhere that they were thinking of leaping ahead 20 years and then I guess there would be a strong focus on the grown up children and their typical marriage plots...kind of like another show that took a leap recently!😉

But 8 years? Hmm. After seeing today's scene with Meera and marrying the doll and the innuendo behind that, I really thought that they were planning the leap for 15-20 years ahead. Not sure what they can do with 8 years? Perhaps in 8 years, Kinjal and Dhaval would have had a little one too! As that seemed to be the hint that Madhu was discussing with her today.😃

And Gopi leaving? Not sure about that? Kokila would not allow it, not for a second!

And would Radha have left the Modi house in the 8 years? She's starting to seem more and more like crazy Miss Havisham from Charles Dicken's Great Expectations, going around all in white (even though she still has not grasped the fact that she was never 'legally' married to Umang!) and probably setting the house on fire in the process! Makes me cringe thinking of all the harm she could do if she continued to stay with the family in all that time! 🤢
