In the 85's and 90's, films romanticized the notion of a hero. Those were the times when films at least the ones I had the opportunity to watch had heroes who were bigger than life. They were flawed humans but they also had this quality to finally right the wrong they caused and it made you root for them..😃
Today, as the car stopped and we were shown Ahem with that determined face standing right in front of it, I was taken back to the time when cinema was lots of fun. 😉
So back to the episode. It was what everyone has talked about. I did love it. Right from the time Gopi came out and received the first call from Koki to the precap. It was supposed to be completely drama and it was. 😊
The change from the teasing Gopi to the one who was broken took just a matter of minutes.😭 Sometimes you get this feeling that Gopi and Koki actually are teaming together to pull Ahem's legs. It was so cute when Koki specifically asked if Ahem was ok. And Gopi's answer that he was angry at the doctor with Koki's knowing nod was perfect.😆
I love Koki at these times. She is totally chilled out and cool and she seems to enjoy teasing Ahem with Gopi. I am hoping for more such scenes were GoKi team up with Meera.. It will be fun to watch.
There is another part to this MIL-DIL relationship. The part were the mother in Koki understands the unsaid words of distress of her daughter. A silence is all Koki needs.
If one rejoices at GoKi, one cannot but be amazed at how far GoHem have come. Ahem was guilty, anger at himself. He wanted to break something but yet he held on for Gopi even though his hopes were getting dashed at every turn.
I have never seen Ahem take abuse like today. He did that for his daughter and for correcting his mistake though the first was the one that drove him. As he wallowed in guilt, he still kept his questions coming trying to find Meera.. Phone numbers, addresses, video tape, he was ready to take anything that would lead him to find Meera.
There was this one moment when he almost broke.. The moment when he came to Gopi with failure. The reason why Ahem's faults are forgiven is because he accepts his faults and does not offer excuses. That makes him much more adorable. And also makes his apology true and heartfelt..😳
Gopi as usual was wonderful. But today was the first time I heard her demand and not in so many words accept the fact that Ahem made a mistake.😎 I do not remember any time before when Gopi agreed that Ahem was wrong, not even when he blamed himself.
Ahem also has always been short of words when it comes to explaining himself but today both Gopi and Ahem spoke their mind and although Gopi as much as agreed it was Ahem's mistake to take the wrong baby, she did not blame him. It was generous of her to assure Ahem. Her daughter is missing and at that time it is hard to think from the point of view of the other person. But yet, Gopi did.
Do not think she was not the mother she should have been? No.. She was that and more but Gopi was also Gopi, Ahem's wife and his Saathiya. Someone who has the biggest heart I have ever seen in a character. I loved her more when she prayed to Kanhaji and questioned him and demanded he give her Meera back to her. It was amazing.😛
The parallel of Ahem and Kanhaji runs deep in SNS. Today Gopi demanded from both her Ahemji and her Kanhaji for Meera and looks like both of them gave her Meera back. Or is it the fact that Ahem is Gopi's real life Kanhaji that made him the person stopping the Auntyji's car? I liked it.
The hospital BTW can be sued left and right.😡 What idiot of a nurse gives a child to someone just because they demand it. If the nurse was stupid yesterday, the ward boy was callous. He assumed that the nurse meant Meera and not Ira because guess what?, the third baby he checked was named Meera.
To add to that he falls down and lets the stroller run its course, never asked the irritated Daadi as to what her granddaughters name was and just handed the baby off. So I can just walk in, shout at the man and take a baby away and he will keep watching. What an idiot?🤢
The doctors were a different breed. Ahem walks in and tells them that he took the wrong baby and all they say is "How could you do it sir?" Best hospital ever.👏 No wonder Ahem was not ready to bring Meera in.😕
But I guess with some drama on Monday in which KoShi will join in, the lady will be made to see sense. Fortunately the tag is still on Meera which means that there will be one way to resolve this issue. But I am afraid how many babies this hospital has managed to swap in its existence. There was a case not long ago when two sets of parents refused to accept the baby girl as theirs Atleast we know that Meera is loved in SNS😊

** Loved how Gopi told the baby what awaits her at home. Daadi will massage her, she will change the clothes, her Maasi will dance. It was lovely.😳
** The irritated Auntyji.. Though I find her compliants valid, she was kind of too over bearing. Or I kinda felt so.
** A nice episode especially when you did not have to see Kinjal and Urmi's stupid plans😉
